Florida here we come!

Yesterday afternoon before I left to come back home I decided to stop at the College Station mall. I really lucked out and found a few really cute things for Florida! Usually it always seems when I am "looking" for something I never find anything! Do ya'll ever have that problem? I bought 2 really cute tops from Forever 21, a pair of blue jean shorts, and a dress from American Eagle.

Isn't this dress cute? I am really into bright colors right now. It was only $19.50 from AE!

I bought this ring and earrings today at Sam Moon. I love costume jewelry rings! Sam Moon is so cheap...the ring cost $7.00 and the earrings were $4.50 I think.

Last night I met my friends Rachel and Dustin for dinner at a Mexican restaurant in Magnolia called Las Fuentes. They both went to high school with me! Afterwards, my friend Maegen and I went over to Kailee's house. It was good getting to catch up!

I just got through getting pedicure and my eyebrows waxed for Florida. Gotta have cute toes on the beach! We are leaving bright and early in the morning for Destin!! My dad is thinking like 4 am?? He's crazy! We are just going to drive half way tomorrow and gamble tomorrow night. Think big money! And by Monday I will be laying out on the beach soaking up some rays! Show Us Where You Live Friday- Black/White Bedroom

Over at Kelly's Korner she does a post every week that's called "Show Us Where You Live Friday". This week is the Master Bedroom tour. I moved into my apartment last August and I decided I wanted to do my bedroom in all black/white. I really like how it turned out!

I really like my comforter...it's really comfy and doesn't get too hot. I like to be cold at night and in Texas it get's way to hot in the summer! I think I got it at Target/Wal-Mart last year. Sorry I forgot which one! My sheets are black and white pin-stripped.


I bought these cute mirror hangings at Ikea last year

I have had this wicker night stand ever since I was like one year old. It was white but when I moved into my apartment last August my Dad painted black for me! I thought it turned out pretty good! I bought the black and white polka dot candle at Hobby Lobby. And of course on top of my night stand are my People Magazines!

The lamp I bought at Target. My mom LOVES the story behind this lamp. It was marked $80 and we thought that was really high. It's cute...but it looks like it's actually made pretty cheap. So my mom asked the manager about the price and he thought the price sounded really high too. So he sold it to us for ONLY $25!!! My mom always loves good deals!

I bought two black and white picture frames to hang in my room. I believe I got the frames at Garden Ridge. I printed out the photos in black and white too.

I love this little shelf I bought at Target. The picture on the right hand side is one of my senior pictures. I am sitting in a black and white chair shoe. I bought the LOVE sign at Garden Ridge. Isn't that little bag cute? It's just a gift bag....I thought it matched perfectly!


Here are the black and white curtains my Aunt Tina made me! I think they turned out really cute! She just finished making some red/leopard curtains for my living room....I cant wait to see them!

Celebrity Gossip!

If ya'll know me you know I love celebrity gossip! When I went to Hollywood a few years ago I just about broke my neck looking for celebrity's on Rodeo Drive.

Here is a picture of my cousin and I standing outside of Mr. Chow's in L.A. Mr. Chow's is a popular celebrity hotspot where stars go and eat! We were about just as bad as the paparazzi! Ha!

In the news this week:

My favorite Nick Lachey and his girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo broke up! I never really liked them together. Probably because I was always a Jessica/Nick fan. Maybe a reunion in the future?


Matthew Mcconaughey and his girlfriend are expecting their second baby!!!


Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband welcomed twin girls this week by a surrogate mother!! They named the twins Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge Broderick.

Team Kate: Kate and Jon's divorce is official. Kate said she had no choice but to file for divorce. Supposedly on the upcoming episodes Jon's new teacher girlfriend is going to be on the show. I think that will be a little weird! Kate is really turning into a celebrity now....wearing a hat and everything!

Change of Plans!

Plans have changed! This coming Wednesday is my last "in class" day for my A&M summer course....the rest is all online. But next Tuesday I have a notebook check-in with my teacher in her office.....so we were going to leave for Florida after that. Well today in class she said anyone who would rather do their notebook check this coming Wednesday after class could. I jumped on that one! Sooo tonight we changed our reservations and we are leaving this weekend instead.....which means that we get to stay there an extra two nights! :)


Bachelorette Talk:
-Jillian is CRAZY for kicking off Jake/Robby tonight and not Wes! Will she ever figure out that Wes is no good?
- Did ya'll see the preview for next weeks episode? It looks like Jake is going to come back and tell her something....maybe to tell her that she made a huge mistake!
-Caitlin and I were saying that we are going to take a little trip to Spring, Texas to visit Robby. And to Dallas to see Jake. Ha!
-I kind of like Reid. He reminds me of Chandler off of Friends.
- I am surprised Michael is still there. She kicked off Robby because he was too young and Michael is just as young.
- Cant wait to see the hometown dates!

Jon and Kate announced tonight on their show that they are getting a divorce. I feel bad for their kids. Hopefully it's for the best though.


Tomorrow I am going to go up the court house for that stupid speeding ticket I got last week. I hope I don't have to pay anything tomorrow. I am wanting to do defensive driving instead of paying the ticket. I saw a flyer for defensive driving at Denny's on Sunday....I made sure to pick me up one! The class also meets at Denny's....guess it wouldn't be too bad if they served us food! Ha! Then tomorrow afternoon I am going to test out of a class so I wont have to take it next fall. Hope that I pass it!


Also, please keep my friend Kristan in your thoughts and prayers....her grandmother passed away this past weekend.

Father's Day and Babysitting

Happy Father's Day! My parents came to visit me last night in College Station. I have been wanting to take them to La Bodega (that Natalia discovered) for awhile now....so that's were we went for dinner last night! If you are ever in College Station go try it out! They have about any type of taco. My mom and I ordered the Baja style grilled chicken tacos. And my dad got pork and spicy crawfish tacos.

Afterward, I decided to take them to The Tap before our movie started. My mom was upset because they carded me at the door and not her! Ha! I saw The Hangover a couple of weeks ago with my cousin's and I was kinda hesitant to take my parents to go see it. But they have been wanting to see it...so that's what we went to go see! They thought it was hilarious! My mom thought my dad did not laugh too much....so she was saying that he must of been guilty of something! She was wondering what all happened when my dad, uncle, and Jared all went to Vegas two years ago! Ha!

The Weekend is here!

I haven't really had much to blog about lately. I just finished my third week of summer school at A&M and it's going pretty good. I have 1 more week to go till vacation! Last night my cousin Caitlin and I went to go see The Proposal with Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds. It was really cute! I love Sandra Bullock. It was sold out at the College Station theater but we made it in time to see it at the Bryan theater down the road! You will have to go see it!

Today my parents are coming down to College Station to visit for Father's Day. I think they are going to stay the night tonight. We will probably go out to dinner and I'm not too sure what we will afterward. They want me to take them to Harry's or Daisy Dukes.....but I'm not too sure about that though! Ha! (Harry's and Daisy Dukes are country bars). I know they have been wanting to see The Hangover so we may do that. But should I see that movie with my parents? Lol.

This coming Monday night Jon and Kate are supposed to make a big announcement. I wonder what it will be? They are separating? Quitting the show? What do you think?

Bad Day!

Well I got my first speeding ticket today. The cops have been pretty bad on this road that's really close to my apartment. I have seen like 5 people getting pulled over in the past two weeks. So here lately I have been extra cautious! But today I forgot. I was going 45 in a 30 mph zone. I was hoping that the cop would just give me a warning....but NOOO College Station cops are mean! My mom said he must of not of been an Aggie. Ha! A couple of years ago I got pulled over back home and got a warning. And get this...I was speeding, my new drivers license was not on me, and my insurance registration was at home. I cant believe I got out of that one! I think I am going to take defensive driving so I do not have to pay!

Yesterday I went to Brenham to go visit my friend Michal. She had knee replacement surgury and couple of weeks ago. She is doing really well and shes already up walking!

Is it Monday Already?

Today I did not really do too much of anything except go to class and work out. It was funny because last night when I went to go work out my personal trainer was the one doing the card swiping by the front entrance. I made sure I stayed there a good 45 minutes so she would know I worked out hard. Ha! Tomorrow I am going to go visit my friend Michal who goes to A&M with me, she is recovering from knee replacement surgery. She has had arthritis ever since she was young so this surgery is supposed to be very beneficial for her.

- I think Michael is cute but a little too young for her. He seems too hyper.
-I still really like Kiptyn.
-I thought the date she had with Jesse tonight went good! It was pretty cool they got to go on top of a glacier!
- I am sad Ed left...he seemed like a good guy. I guess work is his top priority.
- I am surprised she did not kick off Tanner tonight. They seem to have no chemistry.
- Still hope she kicks off Wes soon!


I am off to bed! I have a huge headache and a stopped up nose. I just took some Claritin D. Hope it kicks in soon!

Weekend fun!

Yesterday my friend Kristan and her best friend Stephanie came up to College Station to visit! We all went to go eat Mexican food at Los Cucos last night. It was sure good! Afterwards we planned on going out to either Dasiy Dukes or Harry's. Harry's had a band playing last night so if you do not know any of the songs it's usually not too much fun. So we decided to just hang out here at the apartments. It was good getting to all hang out again! I only took two pictures of us last night...I had my camera with me so I don't know why I didn't take more!My bathing suit from Victoria's Secret came in yesterday! I think I like it! I thought it was a little too big but my friends thought it looked okay! Here's what it looks like....what do ya think?

The Bobbsey Twins

My friend Kailee who lives in Tomball came down to visit me last night! It was kind of a spur of the moment thing! I took her to La Bodega last night for drinks. It's a small little place that serves the best baja tacos during the day then at night they have a full bar and a live band. It was funny because when she showed up at my apartment last night we were wearing pretty much the exact same thing, but my shirt was pink and hers was black. We were calling ourselves the Bobbsey Twins all night. Afterwards we went to The Tap which on Wednesday nights they have a piano bar. It was way too crowded in there...I have never seen it that packed before! It was good hanging out last night...we had a great time!

Trainer, Dinner, Reality TV, and Girls Night!

This week has been so nice! I only had to go to class on Monday because our teacher let us do a "class vote" to decide whether we wanted our Wednesday class to be online instead of in class. Of course most voted online! Monday was the first time I met with my personal trainer to workout. And boy did she work me out! I was sweating big time by the end! She combined both cardio and weight training into my workout. (I also have a funny story...next time you see me ask).

Last night I decided that it was my turn to cook dinner for Matt and Caitlin! I went to the store yesterday afternoon to get stuff to make Hamburger Pie (a.k.a Shepherd's Pie). The only thing I messed up on was the instant mashed potatoes. Your supposed to boil the water, salt, butter, and milk before you stir in the potatoes. But I put the potatoes in with everything else to boil ha! At first I didn't think it would be a problem till the potatoes pretty much started popping out of the pan. So I had to re-make it! I think everything turned out okay. I hope! I'm not sure if it was as good as my Dad's though!

I am so happy that Jillian kicked off David and Juan. They both needed to go! I cant believe David tried to kiss Jillian at the end and she rejected him. How embarrassing! Do ya'll think any of them have girlfriends? I still do not like Wes. He has a website that I found about his music career. I'm thinking he is there just for publicity. I still like Jake. But Jillian thinks the poor guy is too perfect. And now I'm really starting to like Kiptyn from California. He is really cute and sweet. I thought they had a good date on Monday night.

Kendra from the Girls Next Door is doing her own reality TV show that just started. I think she is little immature since she has always had people cater to her. When she was 18 she left her parents house to go live at the Mansion and she has lived there since last year. Now she is 23 and finally living on her own filming this TV show. Last year she got engaged to Hank Baskett whose a NFL player. Supposedly their going to be getting married this summer. I wonder how long they will last!

My friend Kristan who moved back home for the summer is coming down Friday to hang out with Caitlin and I....I'm excited! I think we are all going to go out Friday night for a girls night!

Vacation!

It's official we are off to the beach in 3 1/2 weeks!!Destin, Florida

Tonight my dad made our reservations for summer vacation. We are headed to Destin! I love Destin...the beaches there have the prettiest sand and water. Destin is about a 12 hour drive from our house so we are going to stop in Biloxi Mississippi the first night to gamble at the Beau Rivage! Last year when we stayed there we did most of our gambling at the Hard Rock Casino and Hotel that is right down the street. It was pretty cool inside!

We are spending the 4th of July in Destin so that will be fun! When we go to Destin it's all about relaxing. Usually we just sit on the beach all day and enjoy the ocean. We also like to take a boat/sailing trip. Last year we went parasailing but I'm not sure if I am gonna be that brave this year! I cant wait to go to some good seafood restaurants like Harbor Docks, Dewey Destin's, and AJ's. I'm craving some raw oysters right about now! Also, my dad and I found a good Pizza place last year right by our hotel called Mellow Mushroom.

Weekend Recap!

I made it through my first week of summer school! It has been pretty easy so far. I was going to wait and take MATH 1351 for Elementary Teachers next fall through Houston Community College online. I heard the other day that this one teacher named Mr. Tabrizi was SUPER easy and to definitely take him. However, he is only teaching MATH 1351 online this summer. So this morning I decided to enroll for it. The class starts tomorrow so I am going to have to make a special trip to Downtown Houston on Tuesday to buy the book. Uhh! This math class lasts all summer so I am hoping it wont be too hard since I am taking calculus in July.

Ya'll should be proud of me. I have worked out everyday this week except yesterday! I have been going to the REC and Friday I went to the park to walk. Also, I have to park clear across campus for my RDNG class at A&M....walking to class and back is about a mile. At least I am killing two birds with one stone ha! I met with my personal trainer on Friday for my fitness evaluation and I start working out with her tomorrow!
Friday night my Aunt Tina, cousins Jared and Caitlin, Matt, and I all went to the Olive Garden in CS to eat. It was really good! Afterwards we went to go see The Hangover. This movie is absolutely hilarious! It was about a group of guys going to Vegas for one of the guys Bachelor party and almost missing the wedding. If you like movies like Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Knocked Up, or Superbad you will like this movie! I cracked up the whole time!Yesterday I went to Houston for my cousin Jeremy's high school graduation from Klien. It was at Reliant Stadium. Afterwards, we all went to Los Cucos on 249 to celebrate! He is planning on going to Oklahoma State University in the fall. Congrats Jeremy!

I absolutely hate trying on swim suits! Last night I decided to buy a swim suit online at Victoria's Secret. It's really cute...it's brown and white. Have ya'll ever bought a swim suit online before? The only thing I am worried about is that it wont fit. I should be getting it in the next week so we shall see!
