I'm going CRAZY!!!

For the past three days I bet I have spent at least 8 hrs out of my day on this...My teacher for my calculus class makes us do all of our homework online instead of turning it in on paper. It's somewhat easier doing it online because we get to view examples....but it still takes me forever! On top of the calculus class I am also finishing up another summer math class I am taking through another college that is ALL online. And a couple days ago I started my defensive driving class that is online too!! I got my first speeding ticket last month and I decided to take defensive driving so It will go off my record. I was telling my mom the other day that everything we do is online now!! My eyes are starting to hurt from starring at the computer!

I might go crazy like this girl soon! Only 2 weeks till I am all done with my summer classes!
Tomorrow I am going to make a trip to College Station to visit my cousin Caitlin and my friend Kristan. Caitlin's Georgia friends are coming down for a few days to visit her. She went to the University of Georgia her freshmen year of college before coming to A&M. In the next few weeks I am going to be going back to College Station for good so I can start the fall semester. I cannot WAIT! I really think this year is going to be fun!! It's my last year in college before student teaching so I need to make the best out of it!!

Cant wait to see these two crazy girls tomorrow!
Tonight I really needed a break from the computer so we decided to try out a new restaurant in The Woodlands called P.M. Bistro. I ordered the crab cakes. I ♥ crab cakes! Here is a pic from dinner!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Writer's Workshop- 7 Most Favorite Summer Items!

Every week over at this blog she hosts a Writer's Workshop with different prompts to choose from. I decided to participate today and the prompt I picked to write about is:
List your 7 most favorite summer things/items!

1. No school! Well except for this summer I am taking summer classes. That's one thing I like about becoming a teacher....free summers! LOVE it!

2. Laying out by the pool! My cousin and I did this about everyday in June when we were both in College Station!
3. Getting a refreshing Sonic drink on a hot day! I love Happy Hour!
4. Wearing flip flops everyday! My poor feet!

5. The Sun and that it does not get dark till 9 o'clock! I hate during the fall that it gets dark at like 5:00 in the afternoon...it's depressing!

6. Getting a manicure and pedicure so my feet will look pretty in my flip flops! Ha!

7. Going to the beach! I ♥ the beach...I look forward going every year!!
8. I am going to add an 8th summer favorite. I love afternoon thunderstorms in the summer! Especially if I am home and have nothing to do!

Leave me a comment and tell me what your favorite summer things are!!

Absolutely Hysterical!

My mom told me about this video on YouTube the other day. It is sooo funny! It's a video of a wedding in Minnesota. The bride, groom, bridesmaids, and groomsmen come down the aisle dancing to Forever by Chris Brown. Who would of thought of that idea? It looks like so much fun! I have heard of the bride and groom breaking out into a crazy dance at the reception but not the actual wedding!! Watch it...it's hilarious!!!

And did ya'll watch the After The Final Rose show last night? Poor Reid and Kiptyn. I can't believe the comment Reid made about the "fantasy date" situation. It seems Jillian and Ed are really happy! Ed said Jillian is going to be moving to Chicago soon to live with him. And they are planning a 2010 wedding!!!

Bachelorette Finale and Bumpits!

WARNING: If you have not watched the final episode of the Bachelorette do not read!!!

So what did everyone think of the Bachelorette finale last night?
Last week it was down to Ed and Kiptyn. I really liked them both! Kiptyn has a nice body and Ed is really sweet! But I guess I was leaning more towards Ed. Poor Ed...everyone thought he was so werid after he wore those short swim trunks! Ha!

But who did she give the final rose too????

ED!!

And he proposed and she said yes!!
I felt bad for Reid last night. I think if he would of told her he loved her sooner she maybe would of picked him. All of my friends wanted her to pick Kiptyn. Maybe he can be the next Bachelor!!! Cant wait to watch the After the Final Rose Show tonight!!

A couple of weeks ago when I had dinner with my friend Kristan she was wearing a Bumpit in her hair. I thought it made her hair look like it had so much volume! This weekend while I was in New Braunfels Kimberly and I went to H.E.B so we could get some! The box set we bought includes the big Hollywood Bumpit, the regular Bumpit, and a Bumpit for your bangs. It was only $10 too! Have ya'll heard of them before?

Cute Video!!

I made a 97 on my second calculus test!!! Two more tests to go and the final! So who do you think Jillian is going to give the final rose to tonight Ed, Kiptyn, or maybe Reid?? I really like all three of them....it's a hard decision! Kiptyn is really cute but Ed seems like he is ready for marriage. We will see!

I had to share this video I took this weekend. My best friend's little nephew who is 3 loves the song Poker Face by Lady Gaga. Here is a video of him singing it! He loves the Texas Longhorns too! Gig em' Aggies!!

New Braunfels, Texas River Trip!

Friday morning I left for the New Braunfels area to go visit my friend Kimberly and her mom Sandy. Sandy lives about 5 minutes from the river so during the summer time we always love to go tubing! Friday evening Kimberly, her mom, her brother Jason, sister in-law Chrystina, nephew Michael, and I all went to go eat this Mexican Restaurant called Mamacitas. Afterwards, we all went to Chrystina and Jason's new house to visit.

Me, Kimberly, and Sandy

Kimberly's little nephew Michael and I. He is soo cute! His favorite song right now is Poker Face. Ha!

Saturday morning we got up to go tubing down the Guadalupe River. It was sooo hot outside so the water felt really good!!! Since it has not rained much this summer the river was very low and slow in some areas. We managed to only lose our flip flops on the float...thank God! I actually didn't take any pictures of us floating because I didn't want to mess my camera up! Afterwards, we went and ate at this restaurant called Daisy Dukes that is across the street from the tubing place.

Love the name! We have a Daisy Dukes in College Station too but it's not the same.

Today we went to Gruene before I left. The little town of Gruene has tons of little shops and restaurants that are right by the river. Have ya'll ever been there? We ate at this restaurant called the Gristmill....which is built around tons of trees. It is really pretty and the food was good! I love Gruene, Texas it so neat!

Kimberly and I at the Gristmill
Sandy and I
I wanted to take a picture of the famous Gruene Hall while we were there. It is the oldest dance hall in Texas. Roger Creager was playing at Gruene Hall Saturday but it was sold out. I think some movies have been filmed at the dance hall too.

In front of Gruene Hall with this crazy guy that wanted a picture with us. Ha!
We had a great weekend! I always love going to that part of Texas! Hope your weekend was just as good!

Thank God It's Thursday!

Thursday's are like my Friday's since I do not have class on Friday's! Today I took my 2nd calculus exam and I think I passed it! I hope I got a A! It's kinda funny that when I took College Algebra a couple years ago I had to drop out of the class because I could not pass one test. Then I took it again with a different teacher and made a 100 on one of the exams. And now I have passed both of my calculus tests! I think it is pretty much ALL about the teacher!

Did ya'll watch So You Think You Can Dance tonight? I don't really watch this show but I wanted to see Katie Holmes perform tonight! I did not know she could sing or dance! I remember when she played Joey on Dawson's Creek. In Junior High I LOVED that show! I bet if she wasn't Tom Cruise's wife she wouldn't of been SYTYCD tonight!

Supposedly, Jon Gosselin is dating two girls now and is hanging out with Lindsay Lohan's dad. Give me a break! And the divorce isn't even finalized yet...it's not looking too good on his part!

Well tomorrow morning I am off to see these two people....my best friend Kimberly and her mom! I will be taking a little computer vacation for the next couple days since I am going to be floating the river in New Braunfels!!

Hope everyone has a good weekend and I will be back Sunday with river pictures!!

Happy Wednesday!

Thanks everyone for giving me advice on what color I should paint my living room! When I paint it next month I will make sure to post a picture!!!

Last night my mom and I went to a Yoga class at the YMCA. It was my first time to do Yoga and it was very relaxing! My favorite part was at the very end when our teacher had us lay on our back with our eyes closed while we listened to relaxing music. Then she walked around and put a towel over our eyes that had a lavender scent on it. I about fell asleep!!

Summer Reading:
During the school year I hardly have anytime to just read for fun...I am too busy reading textbooks or studying!! When we went to Destin a couple weeks ago I started reading Something Borrowed by Emily Griffin and loved it! It was a great summer read and was fast paced! Last night I finished her second book called Something Blue. The next one is called Baby Proof...I will start reading it probably this week! What have ya'll been reading this summer?

Friday I am going to New Braunfels, Texas to go float the river! I love that part of Texas...it's so pretty. My best friend's mom lives there so we are going to go stay the weekend with her! Her townhouse is about 5 minutes from where we put our tubes in. I had so much fun last year...I cannot wait to get there!

Hope everyone has a great day!

I need your HELP and Bachelorette Talk!

I need your help!!
Last year when I moved into my apartment I decided to do an orange/red/black theme for my living room. This summer my Aunt made curtains for my living room out of red/leopard fabric that my mom picked out. I think the leopard fabric is going to look great with all my other red stuff! The curtains are short...most of the fabric is red and the tabs are going to be made out of the leopard print.

Curtain Fabric

Next month when I get back to CS I am wanting to paint the window wall for sure in my living room. The question is....should I paint the window wall a reddish color OR a dark tan? At first I wanted to do red...but my mom thinks a tan would look better especially with a black rod. What do you think?!?!

Here is a picture of the window I am going to hang the curtains on. I will probably get a black rod to hang them. I may paint the TV wall too....I haven't decided yet though.

Leave me a comment and let me know what you think!!!!

Moving on to The Bachelorette - The Men Tell All:
- I hope Jake is the next Bachelor!! He is so cute and sweet. Some of the guys were really dogging him tonight though!
- Dave is a JERK! Seriously, would you rather marry Dave or Jake?
- I heard that possibly Michael and his twin brother may be the next Bachelors...that would be interesting!
- I cant believe Wes did not show up! He must of been really embarrassed for how he acted on national television.
- Where was REID tonight since he got kicked off last week? It looks like next week at the finale he is going to come back!
-So who will Jillian give the final rose too?

Ed? Those swim shorts were a little too much last week! Ha!
Kiptyn?

Or maybe Reid?

My Weekend!

How is every one's weekend going? Mine has been pretty relaxing...I should have been doing more studying though! Yesterday was my Dad's 56th birthday. Today him, my Uncle George, and Grandpa all went on a guys trip to Louisiana to go gamble for the night. L'Auberge du Lac gave my Dad a free hotel room for his Birthday...so it will not cost them a thing!

Happy B-day!

Yesterday afternoon my mom and I went to go get a pedicure/manicure in Tomball. I ♥ getting pedicures!!

Last night I ordered Chinese Food To-Go and rented a movie....what not a better way to spend a Saturday night! Have ya'll rented any good movies lately? I am really wanting to go see the Ugly Truth with Katherine Heigl from Gray's Anatomy when it comes out to theaters in a couple weeks!

My friend Kailee and I decided to go to our old church today. It has been FOREVER since I have been to the church I grew up going too. I am really wanting to find a church to go to in College Station. This next semester my friend Kristan and I are going to go visit a few churches so we can find one we really like. I think it would be a great way to meet a good group of people as well. Afterwards, we went to 1960 to eat at BJ's...here is a picture!

I love the shoes I wore today! I got them as a Christmas present like 2 years ago but I never knew what to wear them with. So today was the first time I wore them! They are Tommy Hilfiger...arn't they cute? They also matched the necklace I was wearing in the picture above!

Here are my new shades I bought for $6.00 at Sam Moon the other day! I guess I am into Animal Print right now! Ha!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!!

College Station Trip

Well I passed my first calculus test! Woo hoo! I am so happy my teacher gave us a review before our test or I really do not think I would of done as well. My teacher said that this past test was just hard algebra and we haven't even got into calculus yet. Uhhh!!! So this week I may have to buy this book.....Ha!
This afternoon after class I made a trip to College Station to take care of a few things. I have missed my apartment! Tonight I met my A&M friends Kristan and Michal for dinner at Los Cuscos....it was yummy! I am so glad Michal got to make it! She had knee replacement surgery about a month ago so she is finally starting to get to go out! I'm staying at my apartment tonight and in the morning I am going to head back to Magnolia. Here are a few pics from our evening!

Me and Kristan!

Me, Kristan, and Michal
Kristan came back to College Station this past week to start working before schools starts back up. Her little brother who is thirteen decided to come stay with her this week. I'm sure he just loved hanging out with us at dinner tongiht. I'm sure we bored him to death. Ha!

Hope everyone has a great Friday!!!!!
