I need your help!! Last year when I moved into my apartment I decided to do an orange/red/black theme for my living room. This summer my Aunt made curtains for my living room out of red/leopard fabric that my mom picked out. I think the leopard fabric is going to look great with all my other red stuff! The curtains are short...most of the fabric is red and the tabs are going to be made out of the leopard print.

Next month when I get back to CS I am wanting to paint the window wall for sure in my living room. The question is....should I paint the window wall a reddish color OR a dark tan? At first I wanted to do red...but my mom thinks a tan would look better especially with a black rod. What do you think?!?!
Here is a picture of the window I am going to hang the curtains on. I will probably get a black rod to hang them. I may paint the TV wall too....I haven't decided yet though.

- I hope Jake is the next Bachelor!! He is so cute and sweet. Some of the guys were really dogging him tonight though!
- Dave is a JERK! Seriously, would you rather marry Dave or Jake?
- I heard that possibly Michael and his twin brother may be the next Bachelors...that would be interesting!
- I cant believe Wes did not show up! He must of been really embarrassed for how he acted on national television.
- Where was REID tonight since he got kicked off last week? It looks like next week at the finale he is going to come back!
-So who will Jillian give the final rose too?

I love your living room! Soo cute! I'd say dark tan for sure. I think the red would be too much and wash out your curtains. Regardless either one would look good! I DVR'd the Bachelorette and only caught a minute of it. This season is intense! I feel a little bad for Ed. He'll always be known as the guy who couldn't get it up! Ha! At least that's what I got from it. No bueno! He's adorable though.. I'm rooting for him! Team Ed! Who are you rooting for?

Hi Christa! Thanks for following me on my blog:) I think I am the only vote here for the red. I have a small bathroom off my kitchen which has one red wall and the other 3 walls are a tan...and it looks fabulous! The mirror and the vanity are black. The color I used is called red red wine from the Home Depot. I think alot of people are afraid to paint red, but I'm certainly glad I took the chance!
Are you planning on leaving the other walls the color in the picture, or painting? If you're going to do an accent wall like you say, I would choose which ever wall is the focal point of the room. For instance, the red wall in my bathroom is the wall that the vanity and toilet are on...like I said, the vanity & mirror are black, so they totally pop out against the red wall! I wish I could send you a picture...
i saw your curtains tonight at cait's...they look awesome! im jealous! anyways you should DEF do the dark tan and then if you want to accent i'd do red on the other two walls (not just one red and the other tan because then it will look wierd b/c youll have 3 colors on the walls in your living room) either way both of yalls apts are looking so cute! (not that they werent to begin with of course!)and...dun dun dun! i had a brilliant epiphany at Caits! it would be really cute if you painted the wall behind your bed deep bright red (not like the red in your living room, but red red) it would be a really cool pop and great accent to all your black and white in there! and then you could get some more pics in black and white and frame them in black with white matting! just an idea! lol i should prob be telling you this over the phone instead of a super long comment but i cant sleep AGAIN! lol txt me tomorrow chika! love ya!
