Rainy Weekend and Finding a Church!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! I took a personal day on Friday, so it has been a nice long weekend! I wish I could take a personal day EVERY Friday! : ) Friday morning, I got my hair cut/colored at this salon called Chateau Chic. I'm trying to grow out my hair so she cut it all one length and added some blonde highlights!

It has rained pretty much all weekend so I have been watching a lot of Lifetime movies! This morning, Kyle and I decided to go to church! We are wanting to find a church to start going to here in College Station. Afterwards, we went to our favorite hamburger place in town!

Tomorrow is a staff development day so the kids will not be at school. Wish us teachers had the day off as well!  A four day weekend would be perfect! : )

VALENTINE'S DAY 2012!!!!

Hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day! Yesterday, we had ice cream sundaes/cookies for the kids at school! We were all on a sugar high by the end of the day! The kids also exchanged their Valentine's Day cards. I got a few really sweet gifts from my students....one little boy gave me a chocolate molten cake. I can't wait to eat it!

Kyle and I went to Outback last night for dinner! It was so good! Afterwards, we came back to my place for dessert! Kyle had made chocolate covered strawberries/chocolate moose cups for us! He made the chocolate cups using balloons and then put chocolate moose into it. I thought it was very sweet and thoughtful! : ) He was so proud of himself. Haha! We had a fun night! I think I'm going to go eat my Kegg's Candy my parents sent me! I'm going to have to start my diet over next week! : )

Mail From Down Under!

I was so excited when I checked my mailbox yesterday and discovered I got a post card in the mail from my friend Kristan who is living in Australia! Kristan moved to Australia this past December to live with her dad for awhile while he working down there! Thank you so much Kristan! You made my day! : )

Quarter Of A Century - 25th Birthday Celebration on the River Walk!

Hope everyone had a good weekend! Yesterday morning, I left for San Antonio to celebrate my best friend Kimberly's 25th Birthday! Last night, me, Kimberly, and my cousin Caitlin stayed at the Menger Hotel! The Menger is famous historic hotel in downtown San Antonio. We had a fun time eating at Dick's Last Resort and having drinks on the River Walk! : )

I LOVE the quarter cake I had the bakery at H.E.B make for her birthday! It say's Happy Quarter of a Century Kimberly and the year she was born!

I just got back into College Station a little bit ago. It is freeeezzzing today! I plan on relaxing and watching movies for the rest of the day! : )

Halfway to 50!!!!

I just wanted to wish my best friend Kimberly a HAPPY 25TH BIRTHDAY!!! She will be a quarter of a century old tomorrow - 2/10/12! I'm leaving for the San Antonio area on Saturday to celebrate with her!

Super Bowl 2012 @ Tailgators!

Did y'all watch the Super Bowl last night? I mainly just watched for the commercials and Half Time show! What did y'all think about Madonna's performance? I thought she did a good job but seemed a little nervous! I stayed at my parents again last night and we went to my dad's favorite bar to watch the game! I drove back to College Station early this morning for work.

A couple weeks ago, Kyle started his clinical work for his paramedic class so after he got off yesterday he came over to go watch the game with us! He has been working 24 hour shifts on the ambulance with his uncle at the Houston Fire Department.

My first Coronita! I will have to workout extra hard this week, haha! 

Crawfish is back in season! I will only eat it if someone else peels it for me! Haha! I know...lazy!
