You all know I love my celebrity gossip! What did ya'll think about Khloe Kardashian getting married this past weekend after knowing Lamar Odom (L.A. Lakers Player) for only 4 weeks? I mean come on...did she learn anything from Britney? Ha!


And I read today that TLC is dropping Jon Gosselin from Jon and Kate Plus 8 because of his recent behavior. The shows new name will simply be Kate Plus 8 starting in Nov. Do you think the show will be better off without him?

"What is your biggest accomplishment"?

My biggest accomplishment so far would probably be getting into A&M last year. I graduated high school in May of 2005 and then went to a community college right after. Then in 2008 I applied to A&M and transferred here last Fall!

"What is your most memorable childhood memory"?

It would probably going on family vacations. I love going to Destin, Florida every year!


"What do you order at Starbucks"?

I love the White Chocolate Vanilla Latte and the Carmel Frappuccino!!

"What is your favorite item in your closet"?

Well I just got through shopping so it would probably be my new dress that I got at Old Navy today! It's gray and white - it's really simple but cute!!

"If some reason teaching wasn't an option...what would your second choice in career be"?

Probably a Labor and Delivery Nurse. I ♥ babies!!! I thought about going to school for this but I am not a big fan of science/math. Or I would love to have a job that required me to travel a lot!


"What do you eat for breakfast"?

It really depends. I like to switch it up because I usually get sick of stuff fast! It's usually either cereal or waffles. Right now I am on a bagel/cream cheese kick though!

"What is your idea of a perfect date"?

Probably cooking a nice dinner together or going out to eat to a nice restaurant (a Mexican restaurant preferably) Ha! Then either go see a movie or if we are close to the beach go walk down the shore. I am pretty laid-back so just something simple!

My favorite movie this past summer was The Hangover...I LOVED that movie! Thought it was hilarious!


"Why did you decide to become a teacher"?

I started substituting a few years ago and LOVED it! I always got so mad when a teacher left me nothing to do because I wanted to TEACH! So I think after subbing is when I decided I wanted to become a teacher.

"What is your favorite kind of music and band/artist"?

I love just about ALL kinds of music. Anything from country to pop. I have sooo many favorite artists...it's hard to pick one! My favorite country singers are Clay Walker, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Tim Mcgraw, Taylor Swift, Eli Young Band, Zac Brown Band, Sugarland...and so many more! And pop would have to be Britney Spears.

"Where would you go on your dream vacation"?

I would love to go somewhere tropical like the Bahama's or Hawaii. Or I would love to go to Greece....it is beautiful there!

Weekend Recap!

How was every one's weekend? Mine was pretty good...I wasn't very productive. I didn't get any homework done...but it's the weekend right? Ha! So I guess I will be spending my Sunday night studying!! Friday night Kristan, Natalia, a friend of theirs, and I all went out to a restaurant here in College Station called Ozona's. We all sat on the patio and had a margarita (or maybe two). I love the patio at Ozona's... it is so nice!

Yesterday I went to the game here at A&M with Natalia and Caitlin. Natalia's brother and his girlfriend came in yesterday and went with us as well. Before the game we went to a tailgate party that a girl in one of our classes was having. It was a lot of fun! I have been wanting to tailgate more often....sometimes I think I would rather tailgate than go to the game since we have to stand the whole time. Sad...I know! Ha!

I was so excited to wear my new t-shirt dress my Aunt Tina made for Caitlin and I. Isn't it cute?!

We played UAB (University of Alabama) last night and we won!! A&M is on a roll this year...it's our third game in a row to win!

After the game we went down on the field to take a picture. Excuse my hair...after standing in the heat and sweating for three hours it started looking pretty bad.

Afterwards, we all went out to Northgate since Andrea has never been. It was so much fun just sitting around and talking!

Today I am going to go have a late lunch/early dinner with my conversation partner. For one of my classes here at A&M I have to be paired up with an ELL(English Language Learner) for the semester and we have to meet a total of ten hours. They are wanting the ELL to practice their English talking to us. My partner is a girl from South Korea and we met for the first time last week at Starbucks. She is really nice...I enjoyed hearing all about where she is from. She is a little bit older than me and is married. When we meet last week she told me that she found out the day before that she was pregnant. You know I LOVED that because I just love babies!! :)

" What is your favorite thing about going to school at A&M"?

Good question....one of my favorite things about A&M is that the town of College Station has that "small town" feel but still has everything that there is in a city. I also, like that I am only about an hour and half away from home.

"Where do you want to be after you graduate"?

I am really not sure where I want to be after I graduate. I am trying to decide if I want to do my student teaching here in CS or go back home to do it. Everyone is telling me to do your student teaching where you want to end up teaching at. I for sure know I do not want to end up teaching in CS so I am not sure. I will let ya'll know next semester what I decide to do!!!

"Where are you originally from"?

I was born in Houston, Texas and I lived in Houston till I was two. Then my parents moved to the Magnolia area (which is about 30 miles north of Houston) and that is where we have been living ever since! It's kinda in the suburbs.

"What is your favorite thing to do when you are not in school"?

Hmm...good one. I love hanging out with my friends whether it's cooking at each others places, going out for a margarita, going to the movies, or watching reality TV together. Ha!

Nope...just me! I am an only child!

"What is your favorite store to shop at"?

I ♥ Forever 21! They have the cutest clothes and are cheap!!! I need to go shopping next week!

"What are you looking forward to about being a teacher"?

I cannot wait to decorate my classroom!! I think it is going to be so much fun! I am also looking forward to doing fun projects with students for the different holidays!

"What is your favorite show to watch on TV"?

Hmm... I have tons of favorites!! I LOVE reality TV. Some of my favorite shows are American Idol, Desperate Housewives, Kendra, The Biggest Loser, Jon & Kate Plus 8, The Bachelor, and One Tree Hill.

"What is your favorite game day tradition"?

It would probably be doing all the yells and watching the jet fly over the stadium. Ha. I do not know if that is an actual tradition but I like that part!!

"What is your favorite beauty product"?

My favorite beauty product would probably be my Bare Minerals eyeshadow my friend Kristan gave me for my birthday this past year!

"What is your beauty routine"?

I LOVE makeup....I always have. I first use moisturizer so my foundation/powder will go on smoothly. For a foundation I usually use Clinique Superfit and for a powder I love the MAC Studio Fix. I have been using the Bare Minerals eyeshadow... my two favorites are true gold and 1990's. I use a little bit of lip gloss (also from Clinique) and I am ready to go!

Game Day Pictures!

Last night was the second football game of the season and A&M won again! I can't believe it! We played the Utah State Aggies and the score was 38-30. I thought it was going to get a little confusing since we are the Aggies too. Ha! I like night games so much better than 11:00 am games. It's so much cooler and it feels like a real football game. I went to the game with my cousin Caitlin, her boyfriend Matt, my friend Kristan, her roommate Candice, and Kristan's dad. Afterwards, some of us went to Chili's to eat. I love Chili's chips and salsa!! Here are some pictures of Game Day! I wish I would of took some pictures with Kristan and Candice but we forgot!!

I love Jennifer Aniston! I think she is so pretty and is a great actress! I love her style and she looks awesome for being 40! Growing up I always loved watching Friends and I still like watching the re-runs! I wish they would make a Friends (movie) like they did with Sex and the City. Some of my favorite movies she has been in include Marley and Me, He's Just Not That Into You, and The Break Up.

2009 MTV Music Video Awards

Did any of you watch the MTV video music awards last night? I could not believe what Kayne West did! Taylor Swift won the first award of the night (best female music video).... when she got on stage to give her acceptance speech Kayne jumped on stage and literally grabbed the microphone out of her hand. Then he said infront of EVERYONE that he is happy for her but Beyonce had the best video of all time. Beyonce looked so shocked! Poor Taylor...I felt really bad for her. I really do not like Kayne West. He seems like a JERK!

Later in the night Beyonce came to Taylor's rescue when she won best music video of the year. She allowed Taylor to come back on stage to finish her speech. You go Beyonce!

Today I am getting a massage...I cant wait!! I'm getting it at the REC center here on campus and it only is going to cost $45 for an hour!!  Thats pretty cheap...because usually an hour is anywhere from $60-$65. Hope everyone is having a good start to their week!

Not wanting the weekend to be over...

Today is my mom's birthday...Happy Birthday Mom!!


This past week I have not been feeling too good. I have been having headaches, muscle tension, and have been feeling dizzy at times. I am not thinking it is the flu because I am not running a fever. I'm guessing I am just overly tired and stressed. This weekend I made sure to do some things for myself....like get a mani/pedicure and take a nice bubble bath. My friends Natalia and Kristan knew that I have been having a stressful week so they were going to surprise me yesterday afternoon with a mani/pedi....but I beat them too it. :( Thank you anyways Kristan and Natalia!!! That was really sweet of ya'll for thinking about me!!

SO relaxing....




Caitlin's 21st Birthday continued....

Yesterday evening we went out again for Cait's 21st birthday since we did not get to stay out very long on the actual night of her birthday. The first place we went to was a place on Northgate called Martini Street...it's a girly place so I am sure her boyfriend Matt just loved it! Remember on a previous post I said that this place was very Sex and the Cityish? Well this time we felt like we were on The Hills....we were thinking we were at club LAX in Hollywood! I was Whitney, Caitlin was Heidi, Matt was Spencer, Natalia was Audrina, and Kristan was Lauren Ha!

Yesterday was my cousin Caitlin's 21st Birthday! We all went out last night to Northgate in College Station to celebrate! We are also going to go out this weekend....she is finally LEGAL!!! Now I have another margarita buddy for when we go to Los Cucos! :) Enjoy all the pictures!!

In the TV/Celebrity news this week....

Melrose Place started last night. I really wanted to watch it but I had a meeting to go to. I thought the previews looked really good and it looks like there is going to be a lot of drama! Did anyone watch it? What did you think?


Nichole Richie had a baby boy today. She named him Sparrow James Midnight Madden. I have heard of people naming their child Summer or Autumn....but not Midnight! I am guessing they choose that name since Harlow's middle name is Winter.

Random Post....Birthday Lunch, an Elk, Good Deeds, and Bangle Bracelets!

Today we celebrated my Grandma's birthday here in College Station. My parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins all came down today to celebrate too. We all went to Texas Roadhouse this afternoon to eat...it was good! Afterwards, we came back to my cousin Caitlin's apartment to have chocolate cake with chocolate covered strawberry's! Yum!

I had to share these two pictures with ya'll...I thought it was hilarious!! This evening as Caitlin and I were sitting in traffic to go to the A&M tent sale we saw these two guys walking across the street with this....

We started cracking up....only in College Station, Texas you would see this!!
I had to roll down my window to ask for a close up picture! They were thrilled we wanted a picture. Ha! They said, "REALLY you want a picture"?? They loved it! Ha!

As we were coming home from the tent sale we were about two cars behind this guy riding on a street bike. All of a sudden we see all of this money go flying out of his back pocket....so we pulled over to pick it up. (We were not on a main highway....just the little street that our apartment is on). There was about 40 bucks laying on the ground along with his wallet. Thankfully he pulled into our apartment complex because he was going too fast to catch up with him. He was so happy that we picked it up...he didn't even know he lost it. Soo that was are good deed for the day!!!

My cousin Caitlin and I bought ribbon last week to wrap around these bangle bracelets to wear to the A&M football games. Caitlin ended making them the other day....didn't they turn out cute?!
