It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like CHRISTMAS!

Decorating for Christmas is one of my FAVORITE things to do! Back home I'm always the one who decorates our house....I just have so much fun doing it! I decided to start putting decorations up early at my apartment since I will be leaving in less than a month to go home for the holidays.

I went to Target with Kristan yesterday and I found this little two foot Christmas tree for only $8! I had to get! It looks SOO cute in my apartment!

I found the little ornament balls for $1 at the dollar spot in Target!

This is just an old flower vase filled with ornament balls....cheap but cute idea!

Today I had my first subbing job! I worked in the office answering phones and checking people in! It was kinda fun!

A Few More Fall Decorations!

Hope y'all are having a great weekend! I have been doing lesson plans ALL weekend. I feel like that is all what I EVER do! This coming week is my last week of full responsibility for awhile....it will be nice to have a little break! Last night I finished decorating for Fall/Halloween. I love decorating....it's so much fun!!

I bought most of this stuff from Hobby Lobby and Target!

It's Starting To Look A Lot Like......

FALL!

The weather was beautiful today! The high today was in the upper 70's degrees and it was sunny! Tomorrow morning it is supposed to be in the upper 50's! Thank you Fall! Texans crack me up...one student told me today that she thought it was frrrreezing outside and thought it might snow, HA!

This weekend I started decorating for Halloween! I love decorating for all the seasons! I still want to buy a few more things to put in my apartment! 

 I found both of these decorations at my fav - Hobby Lobby!

Happy Fall Y'all! I'm so excited about the cooler weather, wearing scarves, the leaves changing, drinking apple cider, and going to Halloween parties! :)

Last Weekend of Summer!!!

SLast Friday I went up to the school I will be doing my student teaching at for a work day. My mentor had me write all the students names on their desks, cubbies, etc. You know I loved that! That night was also Meet the Teacher. All the students were so sweet!

Yesterday my aunt came into town to drop off my niece Sadie. Sadie's mom (my cousin Cait) went to float the river this weekend and will be back later today! I have been having fun keeping her!

My friend Kristan also came to visit yesterday! Kristan has been home all summer and will officially be moving back up to College Station soon. : ) We went shopping for most of the day. I found this cute necklace/earrings at Charming Charlies that will go with my outfit for tomorrow! It was only $8!

We also went to Hobby Lobby (one of our favorite stores). I cannot believe that they already have Thanksgiving/Christmas stuff out! There is this picture frame at Hobby Lobby that I have been eying for the last several months.Yesterday Kristan insisted on buying it for me....she is so sweet! Thank you so much Kristan....you really did not have to do that!

Instead of going out last night we figured we would have a wine and cheese night! Yum! We also baked cookies and rented The Last Song with Miley Cyrus! It was really sad but good! 

Tomorrow is the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! Wish me luck!!! : ) I'm so excited about this semester. I will also be thinking of all you other teachers out there tomorrow!

Leopard curtains and SNOW!

Happy December 1st! Yesterday one of my professors announced that our final is canceled...I am SO excited! I felt like saying, "Merry Christmas to you too!!"

Back in August I painted my living room in my apartment and added leopard decorations. My aunt also made some cute curtains for my window and I finally found a rod to hang them on!!!

And this Friday it may snow here in College Station,Texas! The lows are going to be in the twenties...so excited! Hope the weather people are not tricking us!!! It snowed last December around this time too! We always get excited here in Texas when it is going to snow because it does not happen that often!!! :-) Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!!!

Fall Decorations and Birthday Party

One thing that I love is decorating. Yesterday I went out and bought a few cute fall things for my apartment. I think I am going to be a seasonal decorator - unlike my mom. Ha! I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday an bought this cute little pumpkin decoration and a cornucopia that I put some fall flowers in. I love Hobby Lobby...I could spend hours in that store. I was going to just get Halloween decorations but I figured I should get stuff that I could leave up till the end of November.

I also bought some bright purple Halloween lights and spider web to wrap around my balcony - it looks cute! And I got a Fall candle that smells so good!! Cant you tell that I'm really into Fall this year? Ha!

Last night my cousins boyfriend Matt had a party at his house for his 21st birthday! The theme was Matty-Gras. It was a lot of fun! Here are some pictures from the party...

It's 5 o'clock Somewhere!

THANKS EVERYONE FOR THE COMMENTS ABOUT MY APT. ON MY LAST POST!!

So this is my last week before school starts. :( I am trying to relax and have fun before I start going to class everyday and having to studying. I am so not looking forward to it! However, I do like being on a schedule...for some reason I always feel better when I am on a schedule. I guess I feel like I get more accomplished. Today my friend Natalia moves back to College Station...she is moving into a duplex that is like 2 minutes from my apartment so that will be nice!

I think I am going to re-paint the red above my cabinets. I feel like it looks like a daycare...Ha! My decorations look so dull up there now....they just kinda blend in with the red paint. I think in the next month I am going to paint it the goldish tan color too.

But I LOVE the red wall now....I think it looks great. Yesterday I was finally able to hang some pictures onto it. I think it looks really Retro. What do ya think?

Have ya'll ever heard the Jimmy Buffet song It's 5 o'clock Somewhere? Well the stars/moon up at the top of the picture represent somewhere and the clock in the left corner says it's 5 o'clock. Isn't that not the cutest thing? I hung my red clock above the picture too!

Do ya'll want to know why I am such in a good mood today?

Because I will never have to look at something like this again....
I am officially done with my summer calculus class! I took my final today and I think I did okay! I feel so relieved! I now have one more math class to take at A&M and then I am totally done with my math courses! I thought it was kind of stupid my degree required me to take calculus since I am majoring in Early Childhood Education. But whatever at least it's over! I have about 2 weeks to enjoy the rest of my summer before my fall classes start back up!

Yesterday I went into Tomball and I found the cutest 5x8 leopard rug on sale for $49.99! I think it is going to look great in my apartment! I am going to buy that leopard lamp at Hobby Lobby later this week and then I am done buying leopard stuff! Too much will not look good.

Leopard Decorations- I Love Sales!

This month I am wanting to paint a couple of walls in my apartment and add some leopard decorations to my living room/kitchen. This summer my Aunt Tina made some really cute leopard/red curtains for me...I am so excited to hang them up! Last week I went to Hobby Lobby and saw the cutest leopard lamp with black fringes on sale. It was originally like $15 but was 50% off! However, I decided to wait till this week to get it and when I went back yesterday it was gone!! A worker said that they should be getting more this week though. I did end up buying this really cute fabric bulletin board that was originally $16 and I got it for $8!!

I am thinking about painting a small wall in my kitchen red and hanging this on it!

Next, I went to Garden Ridge and I found some more good deals! I bought two mini-leopard place mat's that were $1.99 each! Also, I bought a cute leopard pillow that was $12.99 marked down to 50% off.

I need your help again!
My living room is mostly black/red/orange and I am adding leopard. I am wanting my kitchen to match more. I really do not think what I have in my kitchen goes with anything in my living room except a couple of things. It's kinda hard to see...but do you see that top shelf above my microwave? Right now I have some yellow, purple, orange, and pink vases up there. I am wanting to take them down but I am having trouble deciding what to put up there? Also, I am wanting to put some different decorations on my counter. Any suggestions?

I wanted to share this cute poster Caitlin gave me for my birthday. I finally went to Hobby Lobby today and got a frame for it. I took down a shelf that was above my kitchen table and hung it up there. I have been looking for this poster for the past few months and I was so excited when she found it online! :)
