This month I am wanting to paint a couple of walls in my apartment and add some leopard decorations to my living room/kitchen. This summer my Aunt Tina made some really cute leopard/red curtains for me...I am so excited to hang them up! Last week I went to Hobby Lobby and saw the cutest leopard lamp with black fringes on sale. It was originally like $15 but was 50% off! However, I decided to wait till this week to get it and when I went back yesterday it was gone!! A worker said that they should be getting more this week though. I did end up buying this really cute fabric bulletin board that was originally $16 and I got it for $8!!
I am thinking about painting a small wall in my kitchen red and hanging this on it!
Next, I went to Garden Ridge and I found some more good deals! I bought two mini-leopard place mat's that were $1.99 each! Also, I bought a cute leopard pillow that was $12.99 marked down to 50% off.
I need your help again!My living room is mostly black/red/orange and I am adding leopard. I am wanting my kitchen to match more. I really do not think what I have in my kitchen goes with anything in my living room except a couple of things. It's kinda hard to see...but do you see that top shelf above my microwave? Right now I have some yellow, purple, orange, and pink vases up there. I am wanting to take them down but I am having trouble deciding what to put up there? Also, I am wanting to put some different decorations on my counter. Any suggestions?
My living room minus the red/leopard curtains I need to hang up! Also, I am painting the window wall probably tan.

I love your living room...it is so bright and cheery! The leopard is so cute, too! I can't wait to see the lamp you were talking about from Hobby Lobby.
I love putting greenery bushes above cabinets and I've also got a polyresin saying above my cabinets (kind of like the saying on your stove) that says "Faith". As far as the counters...I've got all sorts of things...books stacked, pictures, a serving tray, a ceramic bowl that I put fruit it, plus the "normal" stuff like canisters and paper towel holders.
I can't wait to see your living room with the curtains! I bet it will look great!

For your kitchen you could put some leopard print frames on the counter tops and maybe a really cute lamp. Then for the tops of the cabinets you could find some cheap bright colored plates that match your decor to display up there and maybe a few different vases. I don't know how you feel about greenery, but you can find some of the good ones that don't look fake to put up there to warm things up and add as a filler or soemthing similar. I can't wait to see the curtains!
