Christmas Eve and Christmas 2010 - A Little Late

Wow...I haven't blogged in forever! I have so much to write about! It's going to take me awhile to get all caught up! Last night we got back from our trip to New York City. We had SO much fun! :) We survived the blizzard of 2010! It was SOO cold! I will post more about our trip later this week....right now I'm going to post pictures from Christmas!

For Christmas Eve we went over to my Grandparents house for dinner and to open up one present. I had a lot of fun with my all my cousins! My Grandma gave me the cutest animal print pajama pants!

When we got home I watched Elf and just relaxed. Christmas morning we opened up presents and then left for both of my Grandparents houses! We had to have our stuff packed for New York because we left directly from my Grandma K's to the airport! I love my Elf on the Shelf....I may use it my classroom! : )

Every Christmas my mom has an ornament made for me...I love my ornament this year! The TASSEL was sure worth the HASSLE!

Christmas and Graduation Stuff!

 Last Saturday I went home for the night to help my dad put up our Christmas tree! We always get a real tree! We went to a local garden store to buy it this year....I'm sure the workers there thought we were crazy...it took us forever to pick out the perfect tree (even though every tree looks the same), ha!

 I have been busy all week shopping and wrapping Christmas gifts (wrapping is not one of specialties). Monday evening my cousin Caitlin and I went over to our friend Kristan's house to exchange Christmas gifts! I just love the leopard watch and key chain Kristan gave me!

I'm graduating this coming Saturday from A&M! I'm so excited! I went to campus today to pick up my cap/gown! Afterwards, I headed over to Hobby Lobby to get stuff to decorate my cap! Here is a little sneak peek....

Do you like it?! I love all the teacher stickers! As of Saturday afternoon I will be a college graduate!

One of my favorite things about Christmas is putting up all of my Christmas decorations! I'm a student at Texas A&M (almost former student) and living on my own....so I have enjoyed getting to decorate my own place! Hope you enjoy the tour!

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like CHRISTMAS!

Decorating for Christmas is one of my FAVORITE things to do! Back home I'm always the one who decorates our house....I just have so much fun doing it! I decided to start putting decorations up early at my apartment since I will be leaving in less than a month to go home for the holidays.

I went to Target with Kristan yesterday and I found this little two foot Christmas tree for only $8! I had to get! It looks SOO cute in my apartment!

I found the little ornament balls for $1 at the dollar spot in Target!

Today I had my first subbing job! I worked in the office answering phones and checking people in! It was kinda fun!

Tonight I went to Buffalo Wild Wings (again...I know). Ha! The Aggies played this afternoon against the Georgia Bulldogs! I can't believe we actually made it to a bowl game this year - we lost though! 44-20 :(

When we got back from Louisiana we went to the movies to see New Moon! It was so good! Kimberly is a Twilight Saga fanatic! She has read each book like twice - I haven't even finished the first book but I like the movies!

Christmas 2009

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We went to both of my Grandma's houses on Christmas day. We ate tons of food and opened gifts. I was SO stuffed yesterday evening I could barley move! I'm so excited that I got an ipod for Christmas (I actually got my cousin Jared's black one and Jared got my pink one)! My mom and Aunt got mixed up so we will have to switch! Ha! Can't wait to start using it when I work out...maybe I will start working out more often now! My Aunt let me borrow Jillian's 30 Day Shred and Bob's video (forgot the name). Have y'all bought those?

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

I'm back...hope everyone is doing well! Merry Christmas Eve! Sorry I have been MIA this past week! My best friend Kimberly came into town last Friday evening and has stayed the week with my family. Last Sunday my parents took us to the L'Auberge du Lac Casino and Resort in Lake Charles, Louisiana. While we were there we got to eat some yummy seafood and Cajun food! We had a blast playing craps and the Wheel of Fortune slots!

This was the picture inside our bathroom - didn't they know I was an Aggie?! The bathroom was also painted burnt orange! Ha!

Our hotel was decorated so pretty for Christmas so we made sure to take some cute pictures!

We had a good time this past week...I will post more about it later! Tonight we went to my Grandma's house. Every Christmas Eve we always go to her house to have dinner and to open one gift - it's a tradition we have had forever. We had Chicken and Dumplings tonight....it was good! I bought my mom "A Christmas Story" for Christmas so we watched that tonight while sitting by the fire.

Yesterday I finished most of my Christmas shopping! Yay! I also bought a couple things for me...a new scarf and the cutest dress from Target! I am so into scarfs this year...LOVE them! I can't believe that Christmas is a week away!!

Last night I went to Clucker's in Tomball and it was pretty much a high school reunion! It was also karaoke night!! As we were sitting there listening too the music....guess who walked in to eat?!?! SANTA! Only in Tomball, Texas! LOL. We had to get a picture taken with him! :) He was thrilled to take a picture with us! Ha! I wonder if he works at the mall?
