Manicures/Pedicures and Lunch

I have two finals tomorrow and two next week...I cant wait to be done! Yesterday I had my Junior II Methods meeting for next semester. In Junior II we are placed one day out of the week in a school. It seems likes its going to be pretty strict and that you have to be pretty much perfect in the schools. Natalia and I are kind of nervous. Today Kristan, Natalia, and I took a little break from studying for finals to go get pedicure/manicures and go out to lunch. I just got a pedicure and my eyebrows waxed they needed it bad! Natalia took us to this Mexican restaurant she found called La Bodega. It was sooo good! It is a small hidden place that has the best baja tacos! They also have a patio you can sit on...so you know I loved that!

I wanted to share this cute poster Caitlin gave me for my birthday. I finally went to Hobby Lobby today and got a frame for it. I took down a shelf that was above my kitchen table and hung it up there. I have been looking for this poster for the past few months and I was so excited when she found it online! :)

Cannonball Whoop!!

This past weekend my mom and her sisters went camping in East Texas for a sister weekend. Over the weekend they were trying to decide what to do for my grandma (their mom) for Mothers Day. Sunday morning my mom calls and tells me about this grand idea they have to rent the clubhouse out at my apartment complex on Mother's Day for the whole family which is around 30 people. And they also call my cousin Caitlin to tell her. (My cousin Caitlin and I live at the same apartment complex which is just student living here in College Station). The clubhouse is right by the pool so people could go swimming too. We did not like the idea too much because since it's the week during finals we know the pool area is going to be crazy with college students. We figured going to dinner or something would be much better. They were saying that they were going to get T-shirts made that said Christa and Caitlin's 1st annual Mother's Day Cannonball Celebration haha!! My aunt wanted me to go count the number of chairs and grills outside to make sure there would be enough. We figured they had to be joking! lol. All week Caitlin and I have been kinda nervous thinking that they weren't kidding. So today I called the front desk at my apartment to see if the clubhouse had been reserved and it hasn't been! Also, Caitlin called my grandma to see if she had heard anything about it and she hadn't! Soooo...I guess they were joking!!! LOL!

Tonight I am going out to for Cinco De Mayo! Ya'll all know I am excited...because I lovvvee Mexican food. But I am going to try and be good an order something healthy!

Follow up Appointment

Summer is a week away!!! :)

I have been going to the movies a lot this week. Last night we went to go see Obsessed with Beyonce...it was soo good! It was a thriller but I love those kind of movies. The middle of this week is dead week at school. I have classes tomorrow then that's it....I just have to study for my finals. I have 2 finals online this week and a 7:30 am final on Friday uhhh. Then next week I have two finals at Blinn. I am hoping I do good in all my classes!

Today I had my two week follow up appointment with my dietitian. I was kind of nervous about going because I haven't been too good. I wrote everything down I ate for the first three days then my birthday came and messed me up. Then on top of that it is hard eating healthy when I have so many tests and projects due at the end of semester. I almost cancelled my appointment today but didn't. When I got there they weighed me and I have lost 2 pounds! I do not know how that happened! But I was honest with the lady and told her I haven't been counting my calories since my birthday. She said if I mess up one day that it is fine...I just cant mess up for a whole week. She wants me to continue eating 400 calories for every meal, write down what I eat, and exercise. She also wants me to come see her again in 3 weeks. I told her that my family is thinking about going on a beach vacation in July...so maybe that will motivate me!!So afterwards, I went to Wal-Mart and spent more than I should have on healthy foods.

Well I am going to go get back to studying. Tonight Kristan and I are going to watch DWTS at 7. But instead of sitting on the couch and watching it we are going to go work out in her gym and watch it! :)

Girls Night...Dinner and Movies!

Yesterday I had a massage at Texas A&M's REC center. It was soo nice! I have been so tense lately with classes and stuff. Since I am a student at A&M an hour only cost 45 dollars which is pretty reasonable. I have been to a couple other massage places in the past few years and an hour is usually like 65 dollars. Afterwards, I came back and cleaned my WHOLE apartment....I felt so productive! As I was cleaning I accidentally dropped a thumb tack in my kitchen and I couldn't find it on the ground. I thought maybe it went down the sink or something. Well....about 5 minutes later I feel something go right through my heel...I stepped on the thumb tack! It hurt soo bad. I did not want to pull it out but I knew I had too. Ouch! Later that night we had a girls night and went to Olive Garden to eat. I love there bread sticks and salad!! Afterwards we went an saw Ghosts of my Girlfriend's Past with Matthew Mcconaughey and Jennifer Gardner. It was so cute! Here are some pictures at Olive Garden...
