Hey everyone! This is my 300th post! Thank y'all so much for continuing to read my blog!
Yesterday we went out to the pool for a bit before heading to Houston. It is sure getting HOT in Texas! I miss the cool Colorado weather! At the pool I studied for my EC-6th grade content exam I have to take in a couple weeks. Hope I pass it! This will be my second time to take it.....I passed the ESL exam with no problem however, the content exam seemed a little more difficult (obviously since I did not pass). Do any of you teachers out there have any good studying techniques I could use for studying for this test? I bought the study guide so I hope that helps!
Last night my friend Kristan invited us to the Improv Comedy Club in the Marquee Center in Houston! Have ya'll ever been to a comedy club before?
Christopher Titus performed..supposedly he has been on Comedy Central!
We had a great time but we had HORRIBLE service! Our waitress only took our drink orders once....we had to hunt down the manager to order a second round.

I'm going to the eye doctor Monday....so I tried on Kristan's glasses to see how I would look in them, ha! What do you think?!
I think I look just like a teacher!
Us Girls!
Thanks for inviting us Kristan! We had fun! I'm glad we were still able to get in since you bought the tickets for the wrong date, ha! Love ya girl! : )
Hope y'all had a great weekend!

Congrats on 300 :)
I think you look fab in the glasses!
Woohoo 300! Good luck with your exam!
Sounds like you had a lot of fun! You should definitely get glasses. Ha, I have contacts, but I love wearing my glasses for fun. You'll do great on your test! Use the study guides if you're worried about the content. Some people swear by them, and others don't. But it wouldn't hurt to use them!
Happy 300th post! I think you look very studious in the glasses, can't wait to see which ones you pick for yourself!
Congratulations on your 300th post!! Sounds like you had a great weekend!!
Good luck on your tests little lady! I remember being so nervous about taking my teaching exams. In California we have a test called the CSET for teachers, I'm sure it is similar to what you are taking! Just try and relax the morning of the test and reward yourself with something fun after the test! I pigged out at the Cheescake Factory after haha. Do you want to teach middle school
Congrats on your 300th post! I love reading your blog.

Congrats on #300 girl!! Thanks for getting me so involved in blogging too! Miss you and hopefully I'll be coming to town later in the week. :) I'll let ya know!
Good luck with your next Content test! I've heard from some of my girlfriends who have taken practice tests that it can be a little tricky!
I went to a comedy club ONCE but I was so nervous the entire time I was there. I was so scared of being called out and made fun of...they like to do that!
Those glasses really suit you...every teacher needs a pair to obtain the "I'm not playin'" look!
YEAH for 300!!! We hit te pool this weekend too. Oh, it's too hot.
Congrats on 300 posts! Awesome :)
I've never been to a comedy club but would love to go to one!
I think the glasses are cute :)
Glad you had a fun weekend!

I looooove going to the Improv! But I feel ya. Service can be slow!
Happy 300! I've never been to the Improv myself, but I've heard bad things about the service there from co-workers. Good luck studying for the content exam. When I took it in 2006 it was only EC-4th instead of through 6th. It's cool that you'll be certified through 6th, but it's crazy to have 2 more grade levels of content to be tested on. Happy studying! :)
