Wannabe Actresses Vlog - Hollywood Bound?

lThis video was was taken last week when I was visiting Kimberly and her sister-in-law. We make great actresses, huh?! Ha, ha, ha!! I'm not liking the close up video of me...I look huge! So please excuse the way I look....it was late! ; ) 

I had to create two videos since photobucket has a limit on video time.

Just Another Random Monday!

1. College Station - I have been home for a little over a week. I'm back in College Station as of today!

2. Teaching Clothes - This past weekend my mom took me shopping for teaching clothes! I bought a lot of stuff!! At Kohls I bought three pairs of capris, two bras, and a shirt for only $80! We saved over $144! I love Kohls! We also went to Macy's, TJ Maxx, Target, Stein Mart, and Dillards! Here is one of my favorite outfits and a cute pair of flats I bought! 

I think I'm going to wear this my first day of student teaching! I will probably wear a cardigan with it.

Did you know that I love zebra print? Ha! Don't worry, I will not be wearing the dress with these shoes!

3. Meet The Teacher - Meet the teacher night is this coming Friday for the school I will be doing my student teaching at! I'm so excited!

4. PPR Exam - I take my PPR teacher certification test this coming Wednesday. All week I have been studying so I hope I pass! I feel that this test might be a little easier than the content exam because it is material that I have actually learned in all my education classes. 

5. Bellini's - My mom and I went to The Cheesecake Factory last Friday and we ordered Peach Bellini's for drinks..... sooo good!

6. Eat Pray Love - I'm really wanting to see this movie. Have y'all seen it yet? Was it good? I love Julia Roberts!

7. Sunsets - I took this picture last week in The Woodlands.....I love sunsets! 

8. Hot - It is hot as blazes here in Texas! If you go outside for even five minutes you are drenched in sweat. Bring on October! I have been ordering a lot of Sonic drinks to keep cool!

9. Bachelor Pad - Bachelor Pad is tonight! Are y'all going to watch? I love all the drama! I have a funny vlog I'm going to post later this week....stay tuned!!

I celebrated my 21st Birthday back in April of 2008! On the night of my actual 21st my friend Kailee took me to Baker Street Pub in The Woodlands! I remember feeling so cool, ha! Excuse the quality of these pictures...it was before I had a digital camera!

The next day my parents took me to 7 Leguas (my fav Mexican restaurant) to celebrate!

We have known the owners for years so my parents had them put this on their billboard! I was so embarrassed! ; )

That weekend I rented a hotel room in Houston for me and my friends to stay in! We thought it would be fun to go to a club in downtown. I will NEVER do that again! It was kinda scary....maybe it was just the area we where in? After that night I realized I'm more of a country dance hall kinda girl! ; )

A month or so after my birthday my family took me to Vegas for my 21st! : ) It was fun!!

San Antonio Trip, Girls' Day Out, and Bachelor Pad!

Sunday evening I left for the New Braunfels area to go visit my best friend Kimberly! Kimberly just graduated and recently moved in with her brother/sister in law. 

Here is a picture of one of my favorite roads that takes you into Bastrop! I love the pine trees that cover the road...beautiful! : )

Monday we were going to go float the river but we decided to have a girls' day out instead! We first took Kimberly's little nephew to MDO! He is too cute! He broke his arm a couple of weeks ago and he let me sign his cast! : ) He calls Kimberly Pena. They have no idea how he came up what that name, ha! And he calls me Aunt Christa...I love it! 

Afterwards, we went back to her bro's house to get ready and then headed out for our day of fun! Our first stop was at the new Sonic in town. Kimberly's brother and sister in law used to live right where it is located. They sold their property to Sonic a couple of years ago! It was funny....as we drove into the parking lot we would stop and say something like....this is where the master bedroom once was, ha!

After Sonic we headed to The Shops at La Cantera by UTSA.  We had a lot of fun going into Neiman Marcus and looking at all the expensive stuff! I don't think I would ever spend $500 on a shirt! We also had fun going into Tiffany's! Here we are taking some pictures outside Tiffany's!

Later that day we went to the movies to see Step Up 3D! I would love to learn how to dance like the stars in the movie!

For dinner that night we went to Maggiano's for Italian food and wine! It was so good! We felt wined and dined after! : )

I'm sad we didn't get any pictures together!

After dinner we went back to her brother's house to watch the Bachelor Pad! I loved all the drama! Elizabeth has to go! My favorites are Gia and Kiptyn! What do you think about Tenley? I used to like her but now I think she is kinda annoying!

Father/Daughter Date and Crescent Moon Wine Bar

Hope y'all are having a great week! I guess I didn't take too much of a blog break! I just got back from visiting Kimberly...I will blog about my trip later this week!

This past weekend I went home so I could go shopping for teaching clothes! Friday night my parents took me out for Mexican food and margaritas! Afterwards, me and my dad went to Crescent Moon Wine Bar in The Woodlands to listen to some music! I love wine bars! My dads favorite band was playing that night so I promised I would go with him!

 Yelba, who is the main singer, is from Nicaragua so she sings mostly Latin music. However, she does throw in some pop sometimes!

We always joke that my dad has a little crush on Yelba! Ha! I always make him take a picture with her!

We had a fun night! : )

Saturday my mom took me shopping and I had NO LUCK! I did buy one cute dress at Dillards...I will post a picture later! At The Woodlands Mall they just opened up a two story Forever 21! I was in heaven! :)
