1. Do you think mustaches are sexy?

No. I think goatees are though!

2. What's the last concert you have been to?

The last big concert I went to was back in March when we went to go see the Eli Young Band at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo!

I was born in 1987 so I didn't live in the 80's too long. But I loved Full House!

4.  Were you named after anyone?

Christa McAuliffe (she was the teacher who was killed in the space shuttle Challenger disaster). My mom didn't necessarily name me after her but the first time she heard the name Christa was when she heard her name. She thought it sounded pretty.

5. When you buy new clothes, do you wash before wearing?

Nope!

6. If you didn't blog, what would you do with your spear time?

Homework, lesson plans, read, etc. I would probably get a lot more done, ha!

7. What is your favorite department store?

I love Kohls! They have cheap but cute stuff!

Memory Lane Friday - My Senior Prom 2005

Welcome to....

Today I'm posting pictures of my Senior Prom! I loved the style and color of my dress! I remember being so stressed out about my makeup. I wish I did it differently because I think I look really washed out!

I invited a guy from another school to go to prom with me! There were seven girls and seven guys in our prom group. We rented an Excursion Limo to take us to the Spindle Top in Downtown Houston for dinner and then to prom! We thought we were SO cool! Ha! Our prom theme was "Cherish The Moment".

After prom the whole senior class went to the Main Event. The Main Event is an arcade/laser tag/bowling place. Before we left that morning every Senior got $100! I thought that was pretty cool! That weekend our group went to the lake to go boating!

Starting next week I'm thinking about doing a theme for each week. For example, the theme for this week would of been prom. What do you think? Thanks Erica for the idea! Any ideas on themes?

Trip to Waco and The Final Rose!

Hope everyone is having a great week! Yesterday I took a little trip to Waco, Texas to go have lunch with my best friend Kimberly! Kimberly went to a wedding this past weekend in Dallas so we met up in Waco on her way back home. We ate Mexican food at On The Boarder. Yum! I brought my camera but I left my memory card at home! : (  So here is an old picture of us...

SOO...what did y'all think of The Bachelorette last night?! My cousin came over to watch the finale with me! We had a fun time drinking some wine and watching who Ali picked! 

Who did you want to win? I really liked both of them so I didn't care too much who she picked. I loved Chris but I felt like Ali had more chemistry with Roberto.

So the Final Rose went too...

I'm happy Ali let Chris go when she did. I felt so bad for him. He seems like a great guy! Maybe they will make him the next Bachelor?! So now the People magazine finally makes sense! 

 Roberto is soo CUTE! They both seem like they really love each other so hopefully it will last!

Was that really Ali's brother and sister last night? They look nothing alike!

If I hear Ali complain one more time about how she gave up everything to be on the show I'm going to go crazy! Come on....she traveled the world with 25 guys....she did not give up everything! Ha!

Weekend, Classroom Stuff, Playlist, and New Workout Clothes!

How was your weekend? Mine was pretty good. Friday night we ate dinner at this Italian restaurant in Bryan called Cafe Capri. It's a neat little place.  I didn't take any pictures....can you believe that? Saturday we spent the day hanging out by the pool. Oh man was it HOT! I think the heat index was around 100 degrees! 

OMG y'all...I'm like in love with the dollar spot at Target! Remember the cute Dr. Seuss bags I bought last week for a dollar? Well today I went back and they had tons of teacher stuff! I was jumping up and down I was so excited! Kristan - I tried to call you but you didn't answer! : ) I know it will be until next year till I have my own classroom but it's always good to start collecting stuff early!

I thought these little signs were too cute - I'm thinking I could use them to help with classroom management.

 Great Job Award, Happy Birthday stickers/ homework stickers, and passes!

Stamps, teacher planner book, "My Name Is" nameplates, class schedule poster, and an apple timer!

All of this stuff cost only $14! I think I need to become Target's spokesperson!

My parents bought me an ipod for Christmas and I just downloaded/installed it the other day! I know....very late! The main reason I wanted an ipod is for when I work out. Here are some of my fav songs on my playlist......
