Our second day in New York we walked around the city and went to some pretty neat places! There was tons of snow on the ground from the blizzard the day before. I'm SO glad everything was still open and running. In TX if we just get a little bit of snow everything shuts down! : )

That day for lunch we ate at this little restaurant called Langan's....I have some pretty funny restaurant stories to share! We walked into Langan's about 11:20 and the waitress rudely informed us that they did not open until 11:30.... so we decided we would sit at the bar and wait. Well...as soon as we were about to sit down the sweet waitress pointed to the door and yelled, "IT IS ONLY 11:20...WE DO NOT OPEN UNTIL 11:30"! If I ever acted like that to a customer when I worked at Chili's they would have fired me!

When Caitlin was a little girl she LOVED the American Girl dolls so we made a stop at the American Girl store in NYC!

Towards the end of the day we stopped at the FAO SCHWARTZ Toy Store where they filmed part of the movie BIG. It was so neat seeing the BIG PIANO from the movie!

It's amazing how rude all of the workers in new York are! Its soooo different from here where if you even look at a customer wrong you can get fired lol!

Wow... as a waitress, I'm appalled at how she talked to you... But then again, it's NYC.. sigh. That's why I could never live there. People are too unfriendly!
