Leaving my Grandma's house.....
We almost were not able to park at the park in ride because we did not realize that we had to make a reservation online to park since it was the holidays. Thankfully, we were able to make a reservation on Caitlin's phone! Thank God for Smartphones! When we finally got checked in we had a lot of time to spare so we decided to eat dinner at Pappasitos inside the airport. Our flight did not take off until 8:50 so we thought if we got to the gate a little before takeoff we would be fine. However, we did not realize that our boarding time was at 8:15! When we finally walked up to the gate around 8:30 the guy said we barley made last call! I would have been SOO mad if we would have missed our plane!!! Can't you tell we are not frequent travels? Ha!
We flew into Newark, New Jersey and stayed there for the night. We didn't get to our hotel until after 1:00 a.m.....we were exhausted! The next morning we took a train to New York City....by the time we left Newark it was already snowing!
Me and Cait on the train
My mom and her sista' Tina
When we got off the train we had to take the Subway to Times Square. You should have seen us Texas Gals trying to get on the subway...it was ridiculous! :) I was carrying my HUGE suitcase and had to go up all these flights of stairs....I'm sure it was a scene! Ha! We finally got to our hotel in Times Square Sunday afternoon!
Me and Cait
After we checked in we decided to go explore the BIG CITY...by this time the snow was really coming down! It was freezing!!!
My mom and aunt in their camo - we were so embarrassed, ha!
For lunch that day we ate at this fun little Irish Pub close to Times Square. It was so nice to sit inside a warm place and eat! : )
Me and Cait ordered Sex and the City drinks! : ) They were SO good! Cheers to Christmas in NYC!
That evening we got tickets to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular! We walked all the way from our hotel in the blizzard to the show! : ) The Rockettes were amazing!
Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow!
Do we look cold?!
Radio City!!!
That evening my mom and aunt decide to watch the blizzard out the hotel window in their pajamas, ha! Me and Cait decided to adventure out and have a couple drinks. Thankfully, we found a pub close by our hotel! Here is a picture of me trying to make a snowball on our way to the bar! This was my first time to EVER see this much snow! :)
More to come....stay tuned! Hope you all had a wonderful New Years!

I am so glad you got to do things in NY. I was afraid you were stuck in an airport the whole time because of the blizzards.
