Well....I'm sick again! I think I need to build up my immune system! I have a really bad cough and can barley talk. Yesterday I went to the doctor and spent $45 for him to just tell me that I have the common cold virus. He also told me that I have a heart murmur. He said it's mild and that I should not worry. Do y'all know exactly what a heart murmur is? Last year I had an EKG and everything showed up fine so I'm not too sure if I believe him. He seemed really inexperienced.
Guess what two kids found in the classroom today?! A scorpion! YIKES! We are studying bugs right now so whenever they yelled SCORPION we at first did not believe them....we figured it was fake. But sure enough...it was real! Our brave custodian came down and removed it from our classroom for us! How scary!

Your immunity will build up! I was always sick the first two years of grad school, but knock on wood I wasn't sick last year!

We have Fifth's Disease and Strep throat going around our grade level. Believe me the "magic soap" (hand sanitizer) is out in full force.
It will get better! After this experience your immune system will be stronger.
ewwww... one of my friends had a pet scorpian...nastiest thing i've ever seen. i would've flipped out if one was running loose in the classroom.
I am so grateful for subbing already because it has really helped my immune system get used to all of the germs! Have you ever taken Vitamin C drops, might be good just to have 1 or 2 of them a day to help build it up. I think I for sure would have screamed because of the scorpion! Praise God for janitors!

The murmur is where the valve on either the left or right side of your heart doesn't fully close so it kinda goes BEEP, murmur murmur murmur, BEEP. It's not very serious unless it startes getting wider.
Scorpions and Spiders are two things that I will NOT mess with!!
