It has been a busy week! I had to write ten lesson plans this week (2 pages each) for student teaching! I taught writing and math...all my lessons went pretty well. I think next week will be a little easier since I'm just doing calendar and guided reading....praise the lord! : )
This week was kinda eventful! On Tuesday their was a tornado warning due to the tropical storm so we had to "duck and cover". It was really rainy and windy! I LOVE storms so I was kinda excited...I tried to cover up my excitement though! Ha!
Today was show and tell at school. One student brought a magic eight ball to show the class and my mentor teacher asked, "I wonder if the Aggies will win tomorrow"? The student shook the eight ball and it said, "Not a chance". Haha! We cracked up!
Yesterday was my cousins birthday! Since we all had to work today we just went out for a drink last night. Cait has been really wanting a pair of TOMS so that is what Kristan and I got her for her birthday! For every pair you purchase, TOMS gives a pair of shoes to a child in need.
Tonight we are going out for her Birthday again! Happy Birthday Baby Cait!

Lesson Plans, yuck! And the sad part is that we won't even really write them like they make us in our education classes when we have our own classrooms. I have to write a Unit Plan that is due at the end of the semester and it has to be for 4 weeks, but luckily we just have to do one subject. Originally the professor wanted us to do all 4 core subjects since that is what we will be doing. I also start my observations this coming week so that should be fun! I just love TOMS, I actually wore my Red ones today to sub. Hope you enjoy your weekend!

Wait until you have to do 25 lesson plans each week....5 subjects, 5 different days! BUT, it's a LOT easier when you write them for yourself than for student teaching because you don't have to get as detailed!
Glad next week won't be so bad for you! I know you've worked hard. :) That's hillarious how y'all tricked Caitlin! I'm glad she enjoyed her night and that y'all can go out and celebrate bigger tonight!! Oh and I definitely don't agree with Mr. Eight ball..WHOOP!!
