Our third day in Colorado we decided to hit up the casino's in Black Hawk! Black Hawk is about an hour drive from Copper Mountain. When we first arrived all what we saw were little whole in the wall casino's...I was getting really disappointed, ha! However, there ended up being some bigger ones! We ended up gambling at this place called Ameristar Casino and Resort - it was SOO nice! It was also a non-smoking casino. We wanted to stay the night there but they were all booked so we ended up staying another hotel across the street.
My favorite thing to play at the casino is craps and the Wheel of Fortune slot machines! I about evened out that night.

The next morning we gambled a little more and I ended up winning $250 on the Wheel of Fortune slot! I was soo happy, ha! The machine went off for about two or three minutes! I couldn't believe it it! : )
That afternoon we drove back to our condo in Copper Mountain (the only reason we stayed in Black Hawk for the night is because we got a really good deal on our condo in CM - it only cost us $200 for the whole week)!
The next day we went white water rafting down the Colorado River! We had a guide take us - his name was Gabe and was about my age. It was so fun! We did a level 2 out of 5....we wanted to do something pretty easy since it was our first time. However, I think it was TOO easy for us! I thought the Guadalupe River in Texas was rougher than what we did! It was really pretty though - the scenery was gorgeous!

Gabe did most of the work...we had to paddle a few times. I felt bad!

I've been rafting on the Ocoee River in Tennessee. It was a class 3 trip with one class 4 rapid in it. Super fun. Of course, I was one of the losers who fell out of the raft (OUCH!) but still super fun. Glad to see you had fun too!!

Your posts on Colorado are making me miss it! I lived there for four years and absolutely loved it! My family went rafting when we first moved there and I believe we did level three. There were quite a few rough spots; our guide was so much fun too!

Your romper is adorable! I went white water rafting on the French Broad in North Carolina.... it was a blast I have no idea what level it was but it was our guide's first day on her own and we went down a rapid we weren't supposed to and the poor girl was stressing out!

My first rafting as so scary because that time i don't know how swim ^_^. well thanks to my life jacket ^_^ i didn't drown. hehe
