Rockets, Hector's, and Bachelorette!

Today we watched the Rockets vs. Lakers game...I was hoping the Rockets would win but they didn't! It wasn't too good of a game because the Lakers were ahead the whole game. Afterwards, I met my friend Kailee up at Hector's Bar. She was there for a friends birthday. Let me tell ya...it was sure classy! Lol. Just kidding! There were all of these old women in there dancing to Baby Got Back. That's Magnolia for ya! If you know me you know I was loving every minute. I am a total people watcher!

This coming week my friends Kristan and Natalia from A&M are going to come visit me. I cant wait to take them to 7 Leguas and show them around all the new places in The Woodlands...it should be fun! And guess what starts tomorrow!!

The Bachelorette!

I am too excited. This will give me something to watch over the summer since all of my other shows are ending. Jillian is the Bachelorette this season....she was on last season when Jason was the Bachelor. There are six 6 guys from Texas this time...that's a lot! And their all pretty cute too! I'm sad because last semester Natalia, Caitlin, Kristan, and I got together every Monday to watch....ya'll will have to tell me who ya'll like!!

Weekend

Do any of ya'll watch Jon and Kate Plus 8? I bought this People magazine today.... at first I thought the whole rumor about Jon cheating thing was false. But after reading this I think it may be true and Kate thinks it may be true too. I cant believe someone would cheat on someone they have 8 kids with. But Jon did get married at 22 and had 8 kids by like 27...so he probably missed out on a lot. Hopefully they can work everything out.

It's been so nice not having any tests or anything to worry about! I left College Station Thursday around 12:30 to come home. I had to stop and run a few errands first though. My first stop was at the Barnes and Nobles so I could get my study guide for an education class I am going to test out of in a few weeks. Well I ended up locking my keys in my car! I was so mad! I have a Honda Civic and foreign cars are very hard to get into. I remember in high school I locked my keys in my car in the Wal-Mart parking lot. It took hours to unlock it! The firemen couldn't even do it. I really did not want to call a wrecker service because they usually charge a good $50. But that is what I ended up doing...and they only charged me $20! I am going to save their number...it was a bargain!

Friday I subbed at the high school for a teacher who teaches a Ready Set Teach class, child development, and apparel. I was asking the students if they wanted to be teachers. Some of them said yes and a lot of them said definitely no! I told them that I went to A&M and I am majoring in education. Some of the students asked me if teaching was my life long dream. I told them that  I did not want to teach high schoo. It was sooo boring subbing at the high school. You pretty much just sit there and watch them all day long. The teacher had worksheets and videos for them to watch. I would much rather sub elementary were you actually get to teach. Hopefully I can get some elementary subbing jobs this next week.

Caitlin came over and stayed the night with me last night. We went to dinner at where else then 7 Leguas and then went over to my friend Kailee's in Tomball. Today we went to the mall...I found a cute top at Forever 21. Her boyfriend Matt and his friends took a little trip this weekend in an RV. They traveled around Texas and ate at 14 different BBQ places. They even got shirts specially made for the trip. Doesn't that sound fun? lol. I am sure they are sick of BBQ by now!

Woo hoo its SUMMER!

SUMMER IS HERE!!!!!!!!!

Could you hear me screaming from College Station? I am soo excited...I can officially say I'm on summer vacation! Well....at least for the next three weeks or so. I start summer school the first week of June...but I am only taking one class so it wont be too bad. Then in July I am taking a calculus class and will have no life then lol. I finished all of my finals today and feel so relieved! I think I did pretty good in all of my classes. I am coming home tomorrow for a couple of weeks to sub and earn some money! I am subbing the high school on Friday....pray that I have a good class!
Yesterday some of my friends and I went to Ozona's for lunch and we decided we wanted to sit outside. So anyways we sit down and were looking at our menu's then all of a sudden I jump out of my seat...my menu goes flying and I was screaming at the top of my lungs. There was a black spider on my menu lol. I think my friends were a little embarrassed. The table sitting next to us just stared at me! Haha! Next week my dad and I are going to Louisiana to go gambling! I can not wait! I have been wanting to play craps again and the Wheel of Fortune slot machine. I hope I win big!! Did ya'll watch American Idol tonight? I am so happy that Kris and Adam are going to the finale! I like them both...Kris is really cute and Adam has soo much talent. Caitlin and I left College Station today around 12:00 to drive to The Woodlands to go eat lunch with my Mom, both set of Grandma's, two of my Aunts, and my cousin Lauren. My dad stayed at home and fixed steaks for my two Grandpa's. We went to Landry's Seafood Restaurant on the river walk. They had a huge buffet set up for Mother's Day with tons of fish, shrimp, salads, soups, and desserts. I am soo stuffed now! Afterwards, we had to leave pretty quick because I still have two more finals to study for. Ahh.... I can not wait for Wednesday! Here are some more pictures we took at Landrys.

Cousins Night and Bluebonnet Pictures!!

Last night we had a "cousin's night". It was a lot of fun! My cousin Dalena came in from Denton to visit her sister Demi... so Dalena, Cait, Demi, and I all went out to Northgate. I haven't been to too many places on Northgate yet so it was fun getting to go to a couple of places. Our saying all night was "Cannonballs Whoop"! (It's a family inside joke). Tomorrow Caitlin and I are driving to The Woodlands to go have lunch with our family for Mother's Day...so that should be fun!
 

Kristan and I decided to take some pictures in the bluebonnets this weekend! Most of the bluebonnets are dying because it is getting soo hot but Kristan's dad knew of patch in Brenham that were still alive. I met Kristan and her dad in Brenham today...and he took some really good pictures of us!I think this one is my favorite...I love the yellow. It will look good in my apartment too.

Show Us Where You Live Friday-Living Rooms

Over at Kelly's Korner she is hosting a thing every Friday to show off a room in your house. Last week was the Kitchen Edition and this week is Living Rooms. I live in an apartment in College Station and attend A&M University. I moved in last summer and was so excited about decorating my apartment. I decided to do my living room in red/black/orange colors.

My mom gave me this bakers rack last Christmas. I love it! Also, I bought those orange/red pillows at Pier 1...it took my mom and I FOREVER to find the perfect pillows to match!

5:00 o'clock Somewhere


My couch used to be under that flower picture (I got it from Target last year) and the chair used to be under the window. I decided to rearrange it a couple of months ago and I think it looks much better like this! It brings the picture out much more.
I am wanting to paint one of the walls in my living room a reddish color. What wall do ya'll think I should paint? The one where the chair is, where the window is, OR where the TV is?
