Crayon Wreath For My Classroom!

This weekend, I decided to be crafty and make a decoration for my new classroom! Have y'all ever seen a crayon wreath before? A teacher I used to work with had one hanging up in her classroom and I just loved it. I bought everything I needed to make the wreath at Michael's and Hobby Lobby....and it only cost me about $20. I think it turned out so cute!

Materials:

  • One 10" and one 14" embroidery hoop (or whatever size you want)
  • Crayons
  • Stickers/wood cutouts/chalkboard/etc.
  • Ribbon
  • Glue gun

Basically, you just place the smaller embroidery hoop inside the larger one and glue the crayons around it. After you're done with that, you can glue on wood cutouts or whatever you want onto the crayons. Then, you can add a bow by tying ribbon around the two crayons at the very top of the wreath....you also use ribbon to hang it as well. Pretty easy!

I'm so proud of myself for being so crafty! Haha! I actually had a lot of fun making it! : )
