I mentioned yesterday that I was thinking about doing a jungle/safari theme....here are some ideas...
Door/Bulletin Board Ideas:

Job/Helper Board Ideas:
"SPOTTED....Classroom Helpers"
"Hunting for Helpers"
Classroom Management Board Idea:
"Going Bananas Over Good Behavior" (I would create some type of board that had different levels of behavior for instance, great behavior, warning, consequence, etc. The children would each have a laminated banana with their name on it to move up and down the board)
Birthday Bulletin Board Idea:
"Born To Be Wild"
Good Work Board Ideas:
"No Lion...This is Great Work"
"Work to Roar About"
Student of the Week Board Ideas:
"Top Monkey"
"Top Banana"

Last Friday, I went to my cousin Lauren's high school graduation party! I cannot believe that she will be in college next year! Isn't her cake cute?! My aunt and cousin Caitlin made it for her!

Congrats on your job, girl!!! Love your ideas! I use a ladybug/garden theme. Look on Pinterest for all kinds of ideas. I've found a ton of new things I want to implement in my room for this upcoming year! Oh and don't forget about going to gargae sales---great way to add your classroom library on the cheap!
