So what did y'all do this weekend? Friday night I went over to my cousin Cait's boyfriend's house for pizza and then we all went to Northgate to have some fun!
Saturday Caitlin's mom came into town and took us to Ninfa's for lunch! Afterwards, we went to Target to look around. Caitlin had to buy a cardboard box to mail something in and the guy checking us out didn't realize that they sold boxes at Target. He put the box to the side and was like "do y'all just want this box"? I'm guessing he thought it was just one of the boxes the stock people had left behind. He wasn't even going to scan it....we thought he was hilarious! We had to explain to him that YES they do sell boxes at Target, ha!
Anyways, as we were walking back to the car my aunt was saying how funny and cute she thought he was....so she went back in and gave him my number, ha! I will let you know if he calls! I'm sure I will not get a phone call since I hadn't showered, had a hole in the armpit of my shirt, and had no make-up on! : )
I bought these really cute Dr. Seuss bags at Target for when I start teaching! I figured the kids could use them to take books home in or I could use them to put Dr. Seuss books in. Aren't they cute?! They just cost a $1 each...I found them in the dollar spot!
Yesterday afternoon we went swimming to cool off and last night I just chilled at home. I watched Lifetime movies and ordered Chili's To Go - I ♥ their chips and salsa! Do y'all watch Lifetime? I love all the suspenseful movies! : )

Those bags are too cute. Kids will love them. That's too funny about the Target guy. I love watching Lifetime movies. I normally only get too when Justin works on the weekends.

Hi, I saw your blog on Jenna's Journey. I am about to start my final year of college and will be student teaching in the spring. I am also going to be in a 1st grade class. I'm in SC though! I love those bags you got from Target! I will def have to look for them. They would be great bags for students to take books home in!

Oh my goodness!! I LOVE finding other teacher bloggers!! :) I have taught 1st and 2nd grade and love both grades! :) You'll do great.
Now, I just wish I could find those bags at my Targets. They are totally GONE. :( Such a bummer, but you'll be so glad you have them. I love the idea of sending kids' books home in them. That will be fabulous (if you decide to go that route)!

Okay... I'm guilty. I've visited your blog before, but never left any comments. I came across your blog again from Jenna's Journey and saw you got a 1st grade teaching position. Congrats! I am a 1st grade teacher in SC, so I'm sure we'll have some good stories to share this fall. Oh..cute find at Target too!
I'm so jealous of those bags!! I've been getting stuff at our Target Dollar Spot but we don't have those. I'm so upset now. Ha ha.

Target is amazing for teacher supplies! I had posted about some of my good finds last week! I just love it! I am super jealous that you got the cat in the hat baggies...i KNEW i should have bought those!!!! Love it!
