Hey y'all I need your help! My family has been offered a really nice summer vacation deal from a close friend to one of these fourteen places....we can pick one! Every summer we go to Destin, Florida so I'm excited about going somewhere different this year! Not that I do not like Destin...I LOVE it there! Have y'all ever lived, traveled, known someone who has traveled to any of the vacation spots below?
What did you like about the place? What did you not like about the place? What was the scenery like? What were the attractions/things to do there.... etc? What would be our best pick? I have heard Colorado is beautiful but would be going in the summertime be fun?

I have lived in Florida all my life and so I have been to Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, and Panama City. I currently go to school in Tallahassee so PC is only like 2 hours away. It's a great place to go to the beach on the Gulf. I really like it every time I go with friends, but we mainly just go on day trips. I personally think it's the best of the 3. But that is awesome that your family won a vacation!

I agree with Courtney! I also am from FL and I think you'll have fun in either Panana City or Ft. Laud! Orlando is a *blast* too, but just know you'll have to drive to the beach! :D ts
Wow, these are some great choices! Branson is fun for a low-key, family vacation. Vail and Phoenix are great too. But my all time favorite is Panama City, FL! Probably because I got married there, ha! The beaches are so white and the sand is so soft, the water is so blue...gorgeous!
unfortunately the only places i have been to on here are orlando and south carolina! south carolina is beautiful though!! i love it :))

I would totally go to Orlando for Harry Potter too! We are going to Lake Tahoe this summer so I haven't been there yet, but it seems like there is SO much fun stuff to do: kayaking, white water rafting, four wheeling...so if you are looking for something like that I think South Lake Tahoe would be fun! I am a sucker for the beach myself so I'd probably pick somewhere in FL. :)
We go to Orlando every year and stay at Walt Disney World. If you've never been, it's really fun! :)
Other than that, my parents have a timeshare in Branson, MO and it's a really neat place too. Kind of a throw back to cheesy but fun tourist-y type stuff. The lake is gorgeous and there's Silver Dollar City nearby which is like an amusement park. The food's great and it's just a laid back kind of area.

I would say Vail times a zillion! Colorado is so wonderful in the summer time! South Carolina is beautiful as well!
I love Flordia! I have been to Fort Lauderdale and Orlando! Both are Amazing!! I just heart Orlando....the beach is awesome and you can also go to Disney if ya like! I am a big Disney fan sooo I love Disney!

I have been to Vail, Colorado. It is so cute there with cute little shops! However, it is most certainly a snow destination. I went in May and many of the shops were closed until snow season. If you are going in the summer, I wouldn't go there.
Panama City is definitely not as fun as Destin so I would mark that off!! I love Orlando!! Of course there is Disneyworld and Universal Studios there which are sooooo much fun!!
Yeah, I'd probably go to Orlando too! I went to Fort Lauderdale last summer, and it was pretty nice.
I love Orlando because of Disney, but I've never actually been around Orlando. My sister went to Hilton Head last summer with my cousin and LOVED it! I think Williamsburg would be fun as well with all the historic stuff. Good luck deciding! :-)
All I can say is don't go to Branson! That's totally for old people, trust me, I've been there!
I think I'd go to one of the places in Colorado, or to Marco Island or Hilton Head.

Williamsburg is a great place if you are a history buff, there's so many historical tours you can go on (including a Ghost Tour) and there's Busch Gardens.
well, i don't think you can really go wrong with that list *jealous face* but i've loved phoenix, williamsburg, vail and bahston :)
I have been to Phoenix, Orlando, and Branson. I liked all 3 places for different reasons. For something different, I would choose Phoenix. The weather is awesome. The people are friendly. There is so much to do and see.

I just got back from Breckenridge, Colorado. We went snow skiing and it was SOOOOO much fun! I don't know what there is to do there in the summer though. I have also been to Palm Desert, California. I went during the summer and it was extremely hot there!
anywhere is gorgeous in colorado! i've been to breckenridge and its adorable! Orlando would also be fun, but definitely not Williamsburg. I live like 30 minutes away and unless you're a big history buff there isn't much to do besides Busch Gardens. I vote Colorado or Florida :)
Having been to the Florida places, I think I would go to Boston. Something about all the American history sounds like fun. Although, you might miss getting your tan you would get in Florida.
