How was everyone's Valentines weekend? I went out to Los Cucos with Kristan and her roommate. We were joking that they were putting all of the single people out on the patio! Ha! Nothing is better than Mexican food and rita's for Valentine's Day! I'm SO proud of myself because this is only my second time I have been to Los Cucos since Christmas break. Big improvement! Ha!
My friend Kimberly works for a radio station in the Dallas area and yesterday she got to hang out with Bruce Jenner for the day! He is the step dad on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. When he met Kimberly he told her that she had a pretty awesome name! Ha! Here's a pic...
For all of my education classes this semester I am having to do all these technology projects like....creating a podcast, creating a virtual field trip using Windows Movie Maker, creating a digital storytelling project, etc. Are any other education majors who read my blog having to do stuff like this?! All this technology stuff is kinda freakin' me out! Right now I'm working on my virtual field trip to Washington D.C.....I'm almost done! Can't believe I actually figured it out all on my own! :)

I love "Keeping up with the Kardashians!" That show seems a little scripted this year though. Was Bruce Jenner's face as tight in person as it looks on tv? Ha;)

That's interesting that you are having to deal with all the technology for a education major. But I guess it's beneficial due to the reapid change in technology.
I remember the technology "stuff". My classes were taught on Macs which didn't make sense when schools have PCs. Technology is huge in education. I had a workshop last summer about stuff to incorporate in your classroom. Aahhh, kind of hard when they are 1st graders.

Wow! I never had to create projects like this when I was in school! That's great, though! Schools are all about new technology now!
Ack-technology freaks me out too! I majored in business, but we definitely didn't have to do all that-good luck!
I've never had to do a virtual field trip...it sounds neat though! My classes have started trying to incorporate more technology but we've only had to do Powerpoints mostly...
i had to do a 'learning with technology' unit last semester... we had to create an activity for an imaginary class using either windows movie maker, smartboard technology or make a webquest...
i made a webquest and managed to screw it up by putting the wrong year group on the assignment, which made the tasks irrelevant.
now this semester i am taking 'science and technology' but i think this unit focuses more on the science then needing to learn how to use new or different technologies.
