Winter Wonderland Texas Style

I have been in such a good mood ALL day since it SNOWED! I woke up this morning at the crack of dawn to get ready for class....as I was getting ready I was blasting Christmas music. I am sure my neighbors just love me! Ha! Around 10:00 this morning it started snowing on campus. But it was very light and did not stick :( But it was still exciting...we never see this in Texas! I made sure to get a few pics...

Can you see it? You might need a magnifying glass....Ha!

Houston had a lot more snow than College Station (Houston is about an hour south of College Station). Now why did I not go home this weekend? Ugh! This was the earliest snowfall on record for Houston.
Houston, Texas December 4th, 2009.

I went over to my friend Kristan's apartment this afternoon. This is what our day consisted of...

Hot soup to-go from Blue Baker in College Station
Watching Christmas movies - we watched Elf...it was my first time to ever see it! I thought it was such a cute movie!!

And drinking hot chocolate!! Couldn't get any better than that!
Tonight we treated ourselves to the Olive Garden. It was yummy! I LOVE their breadsticks and salad! The snow is all gone but it is sure COLD! Tonight is the coldest night of the year so far...27 degrees. When we left the Olive Garden tonight there was already ice on my car!!

I wonder who is going to be my 100th follower???
:)

Omg, I can't believe you had never seen Elf! I love that movie! My sister said it snowed in Ft. Worth. It actually snowed in Vegas last year...maybe it will again! :D Have a great weekend Christa!

Ahhhh! The suspense of the 100th follower is killing me!

I won't hold it against you that you are excited about snow, I hate it though. I wish it would just snow on Christmas here, and then be gone for the rest of the year! I did get married in December, so we were hoping for snow that day, and it was beautiful, a total winter wonderland!

I can't believe you've never seen Elf! My 4 year old loves that movie! She asks me all the time to watch it, even when it's not Christmas!

All those years I lived in San Antonio and Houston and somehow never got snow - move to St. Louis and we get nothing while you all get snow. I'm so jealous!
