SI can finally participate this week in Kelly's Show Us Your Life tour! I haven't been able to join in on the tour the past few weeks because it's been about wedding's. (I hope I can post about my wedding in the future). Ha!
Favorite Vacation Spot: My favorite vacation destination would have to be Destin, Florida!
I love Destin! My family went to Destin this past July and we usually try to go every summer. I think we have been going for at least the past 10 years. When I think of a vacation I think of relaxation. The ultimate form of relaxation, to me, is sitting on the beach, reading a magazine (preferably People) , a tropical drink in my hand, and with my toes in the SAND!
I also love the good seafood in Destin. We usually eat Mexican at home so on vacation we try to eat seafood about every night! Some of our favorite places to go are Dewey Destin's, AJ's, Pat Obrien's, and The Boathouse Oyster Bar. I love Dewey Destin's because it is on a dock so it's a great place to watch the sunset.Sunset at Dewey's
The Boathouse Oyster Bar is an interesting little place. The inside is covered in $1 bills!
Pat Obrien's is a resturant in New Orleans and they just opened one up in Destin on the Harbor. This year was our first year to go and we loved it!! We went on the 4th of July, so we got to watch the fireworks as we were eating!

This is the drink I ordered there...it was called Rainstorm. It was tropical and fruity just like I like!
When we go to Destin we always stay at the Pelican Beach Resort that is across the street from Big Kahuna's.

About to go parasailing! I have only done this twice...I am not brave enough to do it every summer! My mom and I went last summer and I don't think I talked the whole time we were up in the air! Ha!
Another thing we like to do is go sailing! It is so relaxing especially at sunset!
This is how I always feel when we leave Destin, Florida! Depressed that vacation is OVER!

I'd have to say Destin, FL is one of my favorite vacation spots. I go almost every year with my family also!

I am sad to say that I have never been to Florida. Crazy I know! I have been lots of places just not Florida. I have always wanted to go and it looks like you had a great time!

I never heard of Destin, FL until I moved to Texas and now that's all I hear about. I really want to go now! It looks absolutely beautiful.
Also, I have been trying to float the Guadalupe river all summer. I'm still going to try and make it there hopefully. :) I've only done it once.

I grew up in Orlando but I've never been to Destin. How sad, huh?! Now that I've seen your pics, I totally have to go!

I went to Destin my first time a few summers ago and had a great time. I'm hoping to be able to go back soon. And I was really excited as well to finally be able to post at Kelly's Corner this week as well!
