Picture with Santa, Australia, and Christmas Trees!

I can't believe that it is already December! I'm so ready for the Christmas Holidays! I haven't blogged in awhile so this post might be kinda long! One thing I love about working in Head Start is that we get to go on tons of field trips! Last week we went to the College Station Fire Station. The kids had so much fun! This week we went to the Mall for the children to get their picture taken with Santa. They were so excited! One little boy had the biggest smile on his face the whole time we were there. Afterwards, we all went to Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant for lunch. Each year they feed all of the children for free. I think that is so nice.

Last Thursday I went over to my friend Kristan's to help her make cute little bags for her students. Kristan just finished student teaching and is graduating this month with a degree in Education. After graduation, she is getting the opportunity to go live with her dad in Australia for awhile! She is going to have SO much fun! Her dad has been working in Australia for the past 6 months. I'm going to miss her so much while she is away but I know she is going to have an experience of a life time while she is there! : )

Last Friday Kyle and I went to my house for the night to help my dad put up our tree and decorate for Christmas. I always love picking out a real tree with my dad. We had to leave early on Saturday because I had to work that afternoon so we didn't get a chance to hang ornaments on it. I hoping to go home again soon to decorate it!
