Rodeo Houston 2011 - Billy Currington!

Rodeo season is one of my favorite times of the year! I love going to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. This past Saturday my dad took me to go see Billy Currington! We got to the Rodeo a little bit early to eat and look at the livestock part. I love looking at all the animals and going into all the little shops they have set up. The food at the rodeo is AMAZING....Nachos, Baked Potatoes, Funnel Cakes, Corn on the Cob....yum! Haha! I always eat way too much each time I go!

The Rodeo started around 4:00....my favorite part is the Bull Riding and Mutton Bustin'! Mutton Bustin' is kinda like bull riding. But it's when they place a child on a small sheep and the point is for the child to stay holding on as long as they can. It is soo cute! Usually by the end the kids are crying! It was my first time to ever see Billy Currington. He put on a pretty good show! I can't wait to go back again! : )

I love country music. Who is your fav country artist? I have so many favs....Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw, Zac Brown Band, Clay Walker, Josh Turner, Kenny Chesney, Lady A, Sugarland and a lot more!

Hi Christa!
We used to go to the rodeos where we grew up in North Dakota. Bull riding is one of my favorite things to watch, but I've never heard of Mutton Bustin'...how crazy! I would love to see it :)

My absolute favorite thing to eat at places like that is the mini donuts with cinnamon and sugar. YUMMMMM! Glad you had a good time with your Dad...that's so sweet!

Have a great day Christa :)
