In New York, concrete jungles where dreams are made of
There's nothing you can't do, now your in New York
These streets will make you feel brand new
Big lights will inspire you, let's hear it for New York
New York, New York
LOVE that song by Alicia Keys!
We are going to NEW YORK for Christmas!!! My cousin Caitlin and I graduate from college in December so my mom and aunt are taking us to New York for our graduation! ; ) I'm SOO excited! I have never been to New York and I'm sure it is going to be beautiful during Christmas!
We plan on leaving Christmas Day - we are thinking we will book an evening flight! Have y'all ever been to New York before? What should we see/do while we're there? Also, what Broadway show would you recommend us going to see? Just leave me a comment if you have any information! Thank you so much for your help! ; )
P.S. We are wanting to stay right in Times Square....what hotel would you recommend us staying at?

So very jealous! I have never been, so I have no clue as to what you should see or do, but I'll be excited to read other comments and then hear about your trip in just over a month! Fun fun!
Oh I wish I could you just 5 or a specific place! The whole city is amazing, and no matter what you do or where you eat .. if it is significant NYC you will have a blast. I was there once for my engagment and we went to the Empire St Building and over to China town and to The Met ... I hope you have a wonderful time and cant wait to see all the pretty pictures I am sure you will take!
Have a great time. I live pretty close to the city, so I definitely suggest seeing the tree. Go to the 'Top of the Rock' too; such an amazing view! [it's right by the tree].. also if you can go to the Radio City Christmas Spectacular!
:] have a great time!
Have so much fun! NYC is one of my most favorite places in the world!
Oh my goodness. That is so awesome! I've never been, but my sister has. You're going to love it!
OMIGOSH you lucky girl!!! I'm so envious, all of ya'll are going to have a great time!
I'm so excited to say that I have been to NYC!!
I'm not sure what I would suggest though, since you need to see everything:) My only suggestion is that you spend a minimum of 4 days there, you need that much time to see everything! When we went in August, we stayed right on Times Square and it was Amazing!!
Oh, and we went to see The Lion King, which I would totally recommend!
We went last year right before Thanksgiving. I believe we stayed at an Embassy in Times Square. If you have not seen Wicked you HAVE TO! I have seen it twice and it is fabulous in New York. Jersey Boys is also always a good choice.
So fun! We stayed at the Hilton Gardens in on 8th street in the theatre district. It is one block off Times Square. It was a nice hotel. Also, buy passes for the double decker buses. They go all over NYC and they are much cheaper than a cab. You are going to have so much fun!
NYC is fabulous! You will have a blast!
Jealous! It will be so pretty at Christmas! I hope you have fun.
That's awesome!! Congrats. I took Ryan to NYC for his 25th birthday. You should definitely go to the empire state building, statue of liberty, central park, serendipity, magnolia's bakery and see The Lion King! Fabulous. :)
How fun! I've never been to NYC. I'm sure you're going to have a fabulous time!!
Ahhhhh I love New York! What a great place to spend Christmas!
That sounds like an amazing graduation present! I'm sure you'll have a blast!
I l-o-v-e NYC! It's seriously amazing!
I stayed at the Marriott Marquee on Times Square. Expensive but amazing!
I went to NYC a couple years ago, and we stayed at the Iroquois Hotel. It's right in the heart of Times Square and an amazingggg hotel! Make sure you ride a double decker bus and visit Ground Zero and "The Little Church that Stood". It's an incredible sight. It's right next to Ground Zero. Also, make sure you visit FAO Schwartz-the toy story. And of course...do NOT forget to make a stop at Tiffany's. ;)
Have an amazing time!!!
