This past weekend I went home to visit my parents! It was the first time I had been back since August. For my 21st birthday my mom had the owner of my favorite Mexican restaurant put "Happy 21st Birthday Christa" on their billboard. She always jokes with me that she is going to have them write "Welcome Back Christa" when I come home, ha! Thank God she didn't have them do that but when I drove into my driveway this is what I saw....
The sign says...."We Missed You".....sure they did! Ha!
After I got home, my mom and I went to the nail salon to get a mani/pedi! I decided to have my nails painted a dark maroon color. I didn't realize they would look exactly like my great-grandmothers! : )
Later that night we went to my favorite place.....7 Leguas! I needed a margarita after the long work week! :)
Saturday morning I got my hair done at Visible Changes. Thank you for all the comments about my hair! That afternoon my mom and I drove into Houston to go on a home tour with some friends. We first stopped at Spec's Liquor to have lunch.....this Spec's was probably the biggest one I have ever been too! They had a little deli we ate at.

The home tour we went on was really cool! We toured about nine different homes that were built back in the 1900's. The houses were HUGE...about 10,000 sq. feet! Families still live in them so it was neat to see how they had them decorated!
I thought this driveway was so interesting! Down the middle is a little stream of water and supposedly you can still drive on it!
After the home tours, we of course had to go to Kegg's Candy Store! My mom bought 2 lbs of chocolate....I also bought my mentor teacher some!
We had a fun weekend! Hope y'all have a great week!

Your hair looks so good, makes me wanna put carmel highlights in mine, but with this new chemo I am starting that wouldn't work!
