Weigh In Wednesday!!!

This past week I have been feeling down and not myself. To make myself feel better I have decided to start working out and eating healthy!  I do not want to have to have to hide behind a cover up this summer! I would love to lose like 20 lbs! Today I'm going grocery shopping to buy healthy non-processed foods - fruits, veggies, salad stuff, chicken, yogurt, etc. I'm also going to try and cut back on Diet Dr. Pepper!!  Do y'all have any healthy eating ideas or tips? 


I'm going to use my blog to help journal my weight loss. Every Wednesday I'm going to have a "Weigh In Wednesday" where I will journal my week and how much I have lost from the week before. Would any of y'all be interested in participating in "Weigh in Wednesdays"? Here we could also share weight loss tips and ideas. Let me know if your interested and I will set up a MckLinky for next week!

My tip that has helped me is to just think before you eat! Just don't eat to eat, make sure you know what and how much you are eating. And also just stay positive! You can totally do it!!

if you join a gym that offers classes, do the classes they offer. They just built us a new gym here at school and started offering classes and i love them. They make me want to push myself because others are in there and the time flies because most of them are fun! GOOD LUCK!

(o and the best thing ive heard is eat about 5 small meals a day)

Good for you! I reaallly need to get on living a more healthy lifestyle.

I love drinking more water. Crystal light packets are heavenly to help me drink more in a day. Water is my main drink of choice but I do get tired of drinking it after awhile. Also, I try to start my dinners out with salad. Try to fill myself up with good stuff before the main meal! Hope these help! <3

good luck you can SO do it!!! :) giving up diet dp is VERY hard! it's my addiction but i've done it before, you can do it!!!

aww good luck girl, you got this!! i gave up my beloved diet sodas too and it's really helped me to drink much more water and even delicious flavored waters! i've also starting eating slower so i get fuller and actually end up eating less! and reward yourself for all your hard work every now and then :))

What I do is count calories. It sucks, but you pay much more attention to what you are eating.

Good luck! My advice would be to only eat when you are truly hungry. My problem is that I'll eat when I'm bored or watching TV. I would do the weigh-ins with you but I am gaining weight since I'm 7 months pregnant! :)

I would try drinking more water, it really helps! It makes you feel tons better!

Best of luck with your weight loss! I know it's hard, but you can do it. Remember, the key to weight loss is to burn off more calories than you take in!

I might have to join in with you. I've quit cold-turkey last week with drinking caffine. Difficult but I did it. I drink water or herbal non-caffinated tea.

ive just started a new healthy eating plan this week too :) so im definately in!
my biggest tip (and its working really well for me so far) is to track EVERYTHING you eat (and i actually track it all a day in advance so im prepared). I use www.myfitnesspal.com! its a really useful website! my username is rinniez3 if u want to add me as a friend on there :)

My biggest problem is eating when I'm bored...I eat just to pass the time. Once I quit that...I've just felt better no matter how many lbs I've lost...
