Weekend in Dallas for the Aggies vs. the Hogs Game!!

The Aggies vs. the Hogs

This weekend I went to Texas A&M vs. Arkansas Razorbacks game at the new Dallas Cowboys football stadium in Arlington. I left College Station Friday afternoon around 5:30 to go stay the night with my best friend who lives in Denton. I got to Denton around 9:45...it was FREEZING in Denton compared to here. I loved it! That night Kimberly and I went to Applebee's for half prize appetizers and drinks. We had fun...I am glad I got to visit her!!

Kimberly and I at Applebees - She just dyed hair black....she was joking that she looks punk but she is actually pretty country- Ha!

The next morning I left Denton to go meet Matt and Caitlin in Arlington. When I got there we went and ate at Pappasitos for lunch.

I love Pappasitos!!

My cousin Jared (who is Cait's brother) picked us up from their hotel after we ate so we could head to the stadium to do some tailgating before the game. It was a lot of fun!!! I want to start tailgating more often!!

Caitlin and I keeping dry under someones umbrella!!

Caitlin and Matt - I always joke that when I hang out with them I feel like where in the movie Me, You, and Depree...Ha!

The new Dallas Cowboys stadium...isn't it HUGE? It was sooo nice!!

Here are some pics of the new stadium inside...
Isn't that TV on the right side huge?! It pretty much goes across the whole field

A&M ended up losing but it was such a fun game! Probably the best game by far I have been to! It was neat getting to watch the Aggies play in the Dallas Cowboys stadium!! Last night we stayed at a hotel in Arlington and this morning I got up to head back to CS. I am going to go start some homework since I did not get any done this weekend! I hope the rain stops soon...it's depressing! And I hope you all had a good weekend!! :-)

Also, did you have another new home-made dress? Love it!

Your pictures are awesome! Thanks for sharing the new stadium. My husband wanted to go to the game. I think really he just wanted to see the stadium. They are calling it the 8th wonder of the world. I can see why.

That stadium looks ridiculous! I have never actually been to an NFL game so I have nothing to compare it with, but wow!

Looks like a fun weekend :) I also did no homework so that's what I have to do now also. Fun fun...

It sounds like you had a great weekend! I love the name of that Pappasitos restaurant. If it's Mexican, I bet it's good.

You look so cute in your tailgate/game outfit! That must have been fun seeing your team at such a big stadium.

The KSU wildcats are not having a great year either. I am feeling ya. But at least A&M has super cute cloths that you can buy! KSU doesn't have anything like what I've seen fellow Aggies wearing.
