Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo - LUKE BRYAN!

Yesterday was pretty eventful! Kyle and I had planned on leaving yesterday morning to head down to the Houston Rodeo to see Luke Bryan. We were all ready to go until we realized that Kyle's truck got broken into! Someone crashed his window, took his stereo, stole his backpack, and a few other things! He had to file a report with the police so that took awhile. The cop took pictures of his truck and did fingerprints. She said it probably will be kind of hard to find out who did it though. After taking care of all of that, it was already 12:30 so we weren't really sure if we should still go to Houston or not. But we decided to go anyways! : )

We got to Reliant Stadium just in time for the rodeo to start so we didn't have time to go to the livestock show/walk around. That's always my favorite part! However, since it was such an early rodeo/performance we were able to do all of that afterwards!

Another one of my favorite things about the rodeo is the food! BBQ baked potatoes, nachos, funnel cakes...yum! I always leave feeling sick. Haha! I also love the Bull Riding! Luke Bryan put on a good performance...he is pretty cute too! : )

Kailee's 25th Birthday Celebration in Houston!!!

Hope y'all had a wonderful weekend! Friday night, Kyle and I went to the movies to see The Vow. It was SO good! I love Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum! He is so cute! I can't believe the movie was based on a true story. Have y'all seen it yet?

Yesterday, we went into Houston to celebrate my friend Kailee's 25th Birthday! Kailee and I have been friend's since elementary school. It's crazy that we are all turning a QUARTER OF A CENTURY old this year!!! We all met up in Memorial City last night at this restaurant called The Yard House. It was a pretty cool place! They played classic rock music and had a huge selection of draft beers. Afterwards, we went to a place that had live music. I hope Kailee had a great birthday!

It was a fun night! We got back into College Station late last night. I'm tired today! I can't wait to watch the Academy Awards tonight! Hope y'all have a great day!

3 Years Of Blogging

Tomorrow marks three years since I started blogging! I'm so glad that I started blogging a few years ago...I know in the years to come I'm going to love looking back at my blog!!!

Rainy Weekend and Finding a Church!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! I took a personal day on Friday, so it has been a nice long weekend! I wish I could take a personal day EVERY Friday! : ) Friday morning, I got my hair cut/colored at this salon called Chateau Chic. I'm trying to grow out my hair so she cut it all one length and added some blonde highlights!

It has rained pretty much all weekend so I have been watching a lot of Lifetime movies! This morning, Kyle and I decided to go to church! We are wanting to find a church to start going to here in College Station. Afterwards, we went to our favorite hamburger place in town!

Tomorrow is a staff development day so the kids will not be at school. Wish us teachers had the day off as well!  A four day weekend would be perfect! : )

VALENTINE'S DAY 2012!!!!

Hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day! Yesterday, we had ice cream sundaes/cookies for the kids at school! We were all on a sugar high by the end of the day! The kids also exchanged their Valentine's Day cards. I got a few really sweet gifts from my students....one little boy gave me a chocolate molten cake. I can't wait to eat it!

Kyle and I went to Outback last night for dinner! It was so good! Afterwards, we came back to my place for dessert! Kyle had made chocolate covered strawberries/chocolate moose cups for us! He made the chocolate cups using balloons and then put chocolate moose into it. I thought it was very sweet and thoughtful! : ) He was so proud of himself. Haha!
