6 Month Anniversary!!!

This weekend Kyle and I celebrated our 6th month anniversary! Today is technically our anniversary but we decided to celebrate this past weekend! I can't believe it has already been 6 months! Friday night we had Italian food at Olive Garden and then went to a little wine bar called Veritas for drinks! We had a fun night!

For our anniversary, Kyle bought us tickets to go watch the A&M vs OSU game! The game was during the day on Saturday so it was super HOT! I thought A&M was going to win but OSU ended up beating us at the end.

Kyle and I decided to make each other something for anniversary. I told him to be creative! Ha! I made him a scrapbook of our first 6 months together. I thought it turned out pretty cute. I was quite proud of myself! : )

Weekend Post!

Hope ya'll had a great weekend. My weekend started Friday afternoon by going to Happy Hour at Cheddars with my friend Kristan! We had a good time! : )

On Saturday Kyle went home with me to visit my parents. It was my first time to go home since the huge wildfire in Magnolia. I couldn't believe how much caught on fire.

Once we got there I went to go get a mani/pedi! My toes were horrible! While I was at the salon Kyle and my dad went to Tailgators (my dad's favorite hangout) to watch some football! : )

That evening we went to a bar to watch the A&M vs Idaho game. It was on Pay-Per-View so we couldn't get it at home. The Aggies ended up killing Idaho!

I have already started decorating my apartment for Fall! Fall is my all time favorite season. I love everything about it. Especially the cooler weather! : ) Here are some of my decorations....

TIFFANY BLUE ROOM!

At my old apartment my bedroom was decorated in black and white. I decided to stick with the black/white theme at my new place but I'm adding touches of Tiffany Blue! This is my old dresser that my dad painted for me (it was originally white). I think it turned out cute!

I'm still not finished decorating my room. I'm wanting to get a new bedspread and I still need to hang up pictures. Once I get it finished I will post pictures!

Birthday, Grandparents, and Dinner!

This past weekend I went to San Antonio to visit my cousin for her birthday! I left early Saturday morning to head down there. Saturday we floated the river and then that night we went out on the river walk. We had a fun time! I hope you had a great birthday Caitlin! : )

Last night Kyle and I went into Houston to visit my Grandma in the hospital. Last Wednesday she fell in her garage and broke her hip. This was the first time for Kyle to meet my grandparents. My grandma told Kyle he was a good ol' boy for helping move her into the hospital bed from her chair. I'm sure he earned some brownie points! Haha! Since Kyle is an EMT and going to school to be a paramedic he knew exactly what to do without hurting her hip. : ) We moved her to a rehab facility last night so hopefully she will get to go home in a few weeks!

Tonight I had dinner at Chuy's with my mentor teaching from student teaching. It was so fun to talk with her and catch up. She retired last year so I have missed seeing her at school! I forgot to take a picture but here is an old picture of us!

I'm exhausted! We didn't get back last night until after 11:00 so I think I'm going to go to bed early tonight! :)

Labor Day Football Weekend!

I hope y'all had a great Labor Day weekend! It was so nice to have 3 days off from work! The high today barley reached 90 degrees so it felt good compared to the 108 degree weather we have been having.

Aggie Football started last night! My dad brought up my dresser yesterday afternoon so we all went to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the game. My mom also ended up coming into town. We had a fun time! :) The Aggies played SMU and we won! I cannot believe that next year the Aggies are going to the SEC!
